how do i regain his trust and get him involved?
Hello. Im 31, married for almost 5 years and have a problem. I recently struck up a texting conversation with an old friend (he was a FWB 10 years ago). My hubby knew we were talking and was fine with it but then the conversation took a sexual turn. The sexting only happened once and I felt so bad I told my husband about it a few days later. I truly have NO INTEREST in have physical relationship with anyone other than my husband, the thought actually makes me nauseous. I keep reassuring him but I just dont know what to do. I've never been in this situation before and am at a loss. I've just been so horny lately and haven't gotten any attention from my husband because hes busy taking care of the house etc. To complicate things I have MS and am unable to walk so it not like I can just go pin him down... How do I regain his trust and get him to take advantage of the sexual peak I seem to be experiencing? -

The first thing you need to do is sitting with him and put your heart out on the table and tell him all you say above....tell him that was innocent and no happening again....don't beat yourself up, all of us have secrets, yours was found out....not that you will act on it, but secret nonetheless, that is what I am saying, if he never were to find out, and you are saying that wouldn;t act on it, then nobody hurts.
The point is that you need to talk to him and ask him when he is coming around and moving on....you have not done anything so bad and if you are loved by your husband, he must understand that we are just humans and make mistakes...good luck -
If you cannot walk, you would have trouble pursuing your old FWB. Your husband must know this. He may not know how horny you are. You need to talk with him and let him know. He may be afraid of hurting you. You will have to assure him that he will not hurt you and that having more sex will be therapeutic in that it will give you a better frame of mind.
How much are you affected by the MS? Can ordinary sex work or do some modifications need to be done? Can your situation improve in the future?I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
