Its on my parents sofa and the living room carpet and I need to get rid of the white marks before they get back... Will just putting water on the marks get rid of them...?

Hi back to you Luci - re: the stains, if they are dry you could probably just brush them and vacuum the up. If they are still wet, dabbing with a damp cloth should do the trick. Let them dry then vacuum up later.That which we forget may as well never really happened. -

will try to be more careful in the future... to be honest i was more worried about my parents busting me 
than getting rid of the marks
