This isn't something you should be pressured into, but since you both seem genuinely curious, have at it!

A good way to ease into anything new sexually is to mention it when talking dirty, that is if you do it already. If you usually run away when he orgasms, try spitting before you move to swallowing - just let it run out of your mouth and back onto him when he cums (a little messy, but you can always lay a towel down beforehand). The other tip is having your having your favorite sweet beverage at the ready so you don't have to worry about the aftertaste. just like other guys on here have said, I've no idea why it is so great. I too don't think its depreciating, but I also don't think it psychologically related to territory marking, because that would be the act of ejaculating all over her boobs/face.
