I was wondering why I was bleeding while I was being fingered because I'm not a virgin, but I haven't had sex in 4 years. It makes sense that I would be bleeding after not having any type of intercourse for 4 years but why? I know that the hymen can't grow back or rebuild but if it was already ripped, what was it that made me bleed? I know for a fact that when I lost my virginity, the hymen was broken & he didn't scratch me or anything while he was fingering me, so that wouldn't be an answer.

Are you shure it was blood? Did it hurt? Was it close to your period? Had he maybe long nails? Maybe you did not notice that he scratched you because it did not hurt...

I know that if I finger myself a bit roughly, I'll bleed a bit. The walls there are thin and get scratched, cut, it just happens sometimes. Unless you're still bleeding 24hours later, I wouldn't worry.
