Different hormone amounts at different times of the month can cause a relative increase or decrease of the various types of beneficial bacteria in the vagina. Estradiol peaks at ovulation then goes down while progesterone goes up and gradually starts down a few days after.

Ovulating is when the woman is most fertile, is this correct? And Menstruating is the period, correct? I thought woman go most crazy for men when they're ovulating, or does this mean women also release some kind of pheromone when she's ovulating which gets the boys going?

Can this make for a difference/variation in the woman's taste over the course of the month? I can't say I've ever really noticed a difference personally.

I have noticed that ladies would be loosing temper quickly before the mensuration period(I mean 2 days before)...that would give a clear indication that she is at the edge of laying a useless egg.

Nope, its got to do with furthering the species. Lol! Meaning if both the male and female are hot for each other at the same time then that makes chances of a baby more likely if they have sex while the woman is ovulating. Obviously they'll have to do more than just oral sex...

Just like Notlikethenormal said, its aobut furthering the species. Its been shown by research that men are more attracted to women when they are ovulating. Its not that they consciously realize it, its the pheronomes. Research has showns that strippers make more money when they are ovulating compared to women who are having their period. Its not like the guys actually know, its all subconscious.

My husband loves giving me oral when I am ovulating. Its not even that he likes my taste better. He said he doesn't quite understand it, but it drives him nuts.
