How to dull the roaring fire?

My husband and I have a very healthy sexual and loving relationship. We've been married for nearly 13 years, have four children between us (one who is married now and has her own child), and one teen, and two pre-teens.

For about five years, I went through a very rough patch with my libido due to my illness. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoratic Arthritis, and Fibromyalgia. I do not take prescribed medications for them, as I take issue with the pharmaceutical industry. I treat my ailments with natural methods that, for the most part, work as well as they can for me to be pain free. When I hit rock bottom on the libido, I went to my doctor and she directed me back to my illnesses as being my source for the problem. I am not stressed, unhappy, or suffering from hormonal issues. Everything down below does what it's supposed to just fine, except that the sexual urge went entirely away. I could have cared less about sex, or orgasms, or anything to do with sexuality. I found myself having to force the moment to be with my husband because I felt so guilty about how compassionate, understanding, supportive, and faithful he has been to me and patiently waiting for me to arrive to the rare moment of feeling sexual. So I'd give the hand job, or oral pleasure to him to try to make up for the dry spells. He never complained, and for that I've always been so appreciative to him. I knew though, the doctor was right. There were times when I just couldn't fathom the time it meant to keep my mouth open for oral pleasure for my husband, as the jaw joints would get sore and hurt so much that I'd get a headache. My hands would cease up and I couldn't manage masturbating him, let alone myself. Once, we even accidentally popped my hip out of place and then back in and it caused me to be in pain for days after. Sometimes there's no answer to positions that don't hurt my joints, and I so I believe I started to associate sex to pain and thus my libido just died.

But something happened a week ago that has me more than hopeful for the sexual side of my marriage. I suddenly become a tigress on the prowl for a kill. More like a half crazed, starving tigress! My desire has been burning longer and more furious that I've ever known before. I am achieving orgasms 10-15 times per day, and suffering (yes... it's unpleasant) from a sore clitoris and vagina from all of the stimulation between my husband and my own masturbation. While the ecstasy is fabulous in the moments that I climax, and I almost black out from them, I am finding no fading from the release. It seems the urge is there, if not stronger than prior to my release. I am going to be 35 next March, and know that it's not uncommon for a woman of my age to suddenly be propelled into libido overdrive, as I was prepared for the possibility to visit my future. I just didn't know it was ********THIS******** volatile in the urge. A simple bump in the road can send me soaring into a frenzy of thoughts. I have never, in my life, worn pads, and now I am having to tuck them into my panties just to keep up with the soakings I go through from my own arousal. My husband is DELIGHTED to see my well come back from the dry spell, and flood the town (so to speak), but at the same time... the man does have a day job to go to, and has to get rest at night. We also have children, and live in an RV. So... the rocking can creep the kids out pretty quick. LOL! I can't exactly toss them outside either, as our "let's get it on" bonk-chinka-wow-wow time mainly happens at night, when he's home from work. Family lives far away, and the friends we have keep the same schedule as us, so they can't exactly take on our kids. I also homeschool, which means these kiddos are underfoot 24/7 basically. (No, it doesn't bother either of us, as we're a very close knit family). However, it can be a bit challenging to find that private time I find myself constantly needing!

How do I dull down the fire within? I can't really take a cold shower, as it's been so hot here lately that the cold setting on the shower comes out at an arousing luke warm temperature. So showers only seem to intensify the feelings. I can't seem to find anything on a safe-to-use over-the-counter cream that will dull the sensation. Doing keegles makes it so much worse!! My abdomen and legs are sore as heck from all the tensing from orgasms and sex. You'd think this wouldn't be a nuisance, but really.. it is. I am finding my routine to be disrupted with sexual thoughts near constantly right now. Can I find no balance in the world of sex? First I'm dead sexually, and now I'm reduced to the equivalent of a dog humping the stuffed rabbit (metaphorically speaking!!!). LOL! Can anyone lend suggestions, tips, or otherwise on how I get control of this???

Maybe cardio and weight training? It gives me the ability to manage any stress better, including sexual frustration. It won't really decrease your libido, though. It may even increase it. I don't think there is really a healthy way to decrease it, unfortunately.

Increase is definitely not where I want to go! LOL! It might kill one of us, or both of us at that rate!

I'm still searching for ideas, but have **so far** turned up empty handed. My good friend told me (Yep... going through this now. Be glad you have a man! It could be worse. You could be frustrated without a male counterpart). She had a good point there. LOL!

I hear you. It's a trade off though. It will give you a way to expend energy and have more mental focus and calm. It will also allow you to rest better at night.

Masturbation? It doesn't require so much bouncing around. I have heard of this type of Japanese sex where the woman contracts her muscles. Its sex without the grinding and humpting.

Working out also help. It burns off that energy and prevents you from seeing frustrated.

Maybe a new high-end mattress is in order to make sure things don't make noises.

If you were my wife I'd get you a rampant rabbit (and a mains adaptor) to pick up the slack.

Masturbation is the closest substitute for sex, and I've never seen a device which can make a woman cum so quickly as one of those rabbits.
