Tips on how to enjoy vaginal penetration: What if you don't feel much?

I asked this question in another post, but I figured making it a main topic may get more results. I have gotten intimate with someone I trust, but we didn't have penetration. He's the type of experienced man that can tell when a woman is faking it or isn't fully into the act. A previous partner of mine also said that I look like I'm spaced out or disconnected during sex. This new man and I may have intercourse in the future, but I'm nervous about it.

I don't understand how "amazing penetration" is supposed to feel. I can feel the g-spot being stimulated, but it just feels like I'm going to urinate. I have tried stimulating the clit while being penetrated, but it feels odd. Is it because my body isn't used to it or what? Or is it true that some women just don't have naturally sensitive vaginas?

If I had a magic wand, I wish penetration could feel exactly like clitoral stimulation. The best thing that I like is having the clitoris stimulated alone.

Anyone have any advice or any women in the same boat? How do men feel when their partner doesn't get much pleasure from vaginal sex?

Is it because my body isn't used to it or what? Or is it true that some women just don't have naturally sensitive vaginas?
I think either (or both) of these are possible. I am not in your boat ... I'm in that other boat you'd like to be in. Penetration feels great to me, not because of any special "spot" my husband might be hitting, but just overall. I do need to take serious time to achieve full penetration though - little by little, no matter how "warmed up" I am otherwise.

Something I do during penetration is visualize the tissues in my vagina filling with blood and the muscles closing in. I don't know when I started doing this, but it is a definite PLUS when it comes to feeling. It helps me control my pelvic muscles too. You might try this the next time you try out penetration. I don't know if it'll help, but I don't think it could hurt

It's important to remember that the vagina is just not as equipped for pleasure as the clitoris. The nerves aren't bundled together in anywhere near the same concentration. I've read in a few places that most of the vagina isn't even very sensitive - after the first inch or two, the number of nerves drops off significantly, probably in order to facilitate childbirth. Even over here in my boat, where penetrative sex is top notch, it doesn't take the place of clitoral stimulation, but it is a nice addition to it.

I hope somebody else can give you some more helpful advice, maybe some perspective from the same boat you're in, but I thought I'd throw the visualization out there

I think most of the feeling during intercourse is emotional, for me... like Little said there isn't really one spot just overall feels good.

Maybe if you have more mental stimulation (maybe by you both being more verbal) during intercourse you would be able to get more enjoyment out of it. Once my boyfriend and I were staying at a hotel, there was a huge mirror that provided me with visuals I never got to see before... VERY arousing.

When I get aroused, I do notice I get a tingly feeling as if I want somethin to enter into me. I will try the tip Little gave. I'm hoping that others may have some valuable advice.

I talked to a healthcare professional recently, and she suspected that my tipped uterus might be the reason for why I feel intercourse the way I do. I think it's probably going to be psychological unconditioning.

I can't honestly say as I haven't had many partners and the ones I've had prefer vaginal sex. It's what's most pleasurable for me, so I think it would be a disappointment if my woman didn't like it. Everybody is different though. And, if I had a woman with a sexuality to match my own then nothing else would be much of an issue.

One thing I always wonder about is the advice for women to masturbate to explore themselves and learn their bodies, while men are told not to masturbate too much or too vigorously to keep themselves sensitive to the vagina. Why would it be different? The clitoris is naturally stimulated during PIV sex without being touched directly. I suspect that like most women, direct clitoral stimulation gives my wife more physical sensation. I'm sure she could get herself off more quicky than I can. But she doesn't masturbate and won't even let me manipulate her digitally too much. Maybe that allows her to get more fulfillment from my penis? I don't know. I wonder if there's any research on this or if anyone has any experience with enjoying sex more after stopping or cutting back on masturbation and direct clitoral stimulation.

Orgasm doesn't come easily, a man has to spend a lot of time making you feel relaxed and caressing your whole body.

This silly idea that a man can just press the g-spot and magically cause an orgasm is false (or its not what I know to be true).

Some men these days get this silly notion that grinding the vulva or violently inserting the fingers into a womens vagina whilst pressing some imaginary button is absurd.

OK yes there is apparently an organ called the para-uretheral gland with 31 ducts that feeds into the bottom of the vaginal barrel but the idea that one can press it and suddenly a womens is having an orgasm is stupid and ignorant from what I know myself.

Orgasm takes a lot of effort from what I know myself its like anything else that is worthwhile its difficult to achieve and takes a long time.

The only orgasm I know about takes or lasts "all night" its a long drawn out process that will make ones arms ache and ones testicles rise up and cause pain.

So forget about these silly notions of achieving an orgasm easily and quickly if you want that mind blowing orgasm that very few I would imagine ever experience.

A man must spend hours on caressing a womens body and it must be done in a way that is incredibly gentle and slow.

There is a difference between caressing and rubbing.

Rubbing causes irritation which is not what a man should do.

Caressing on the other hand is when a mans hands glide over the skin cells barely touching the surface.

If you have dry cracked and rough hands you're at a disadvantage because your hands are not ideal for caressing.

A man must caress the ENTIRE body not just what some call erogenous zones in fact initially dont caress the vulva or the breasts, one should try to instill trust and care above all else.

Its this drawn out gentle touching that makes a women relax and tune-in to the pleasure that she is recieving.

A man should kiss a women really gently and slowly not fast, rough, stupid, cumbersome, or an oafish kinda way.

Kissing around the neck and the lips because kissing is the fourth state of courtship and the final prelude to sexual intercourse.

I wont go into any more detail (too hot [unless you request it]) except to say that caressing for a long time done right will eventually produce an orgasm.

My ex could only orgasm in a certain position (her on top), and only if I spoke dirty to her whilst she was going for it.

Another could only orgasm through oral sex.

Another would squirt when she orgasm'd.

The key is, every woman is different, you are different to every woman on here, and no advice will resolve that. The only thing you can do is learn what works for you.

This chap you trust, speak to him about it, explore each others bodies and find out what works for each other, that is they key.

I have a difficult time believing this healthcare provider. 25% of women have a tipped uterus. I do too. It can impact the positions that are enjoyable, but not the fact that you get no pleasure. Each woman is different. You don't have to be like everybody else. To me, penetration does not feel the best, but its the most satisfying. It may have to do with the intimacy of being with another person.

Have you tried penetration with a partner together with toys. There is the We Vibe and also vibrating penis rings.

Women are told to masturbate so they understand their bodies and figure out what gives them pleasure. It just happens that usually men learn to masturbate by themselves and learn what is pleasurable. Women often don't. Women's pleasure points are also a lot more diverse than mens. Most women find clitoral stimulation the best. Other enjoy the G-spot stimulationg better. I am not saying it is a universal truth, but is the case in most situations. Since women masturbate less (due to societal influences), that is why women are often encouraged to mastrubat. Sexual dysfunctions most prevelance in women are often due to lack of knowledge about their body parts and what works best for them.

Its not that men are discouraged to masturbate. Its only for men who masturbate so much that they cannot orgasm from vaginal sex.

Can anyone explain or describe what penetration is supposed to feel like? All what I feel is the urination/tingly feeling associated with the G-spot. I just want to see if there's something wrong with how my body responds or if I'm experiencing what most women feel during sex.

I've been masturbating since I was 12, and it's clear that clitoral stimulation is what works best for me. I've tried masturbating with toys and inserting them inside me. I get bored, so I take the toys out and just go back to the clitoris.

This male partner and I were drinking a bit too much alcohol, and he revealed that he was a bit let down that he couldn't make me orgasm through oral sex. He said "You're giving me all this pleasure, but I can't give it back." I told him I was just a bit nervous and that it's a little awkward when it's your first time with someone. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed our experience. I made it clear that I get tremendous pleasure from giving oral. He said he would be slightly offended if I brought in toys, because he felt that what he had wasn't good enough. My last partner also didn't like it when I used a bullet toy to prep me for penetration.

The next morning, he forgot what he said and apologized if he said anything out of drunk stupor lol. I like how he's understanding for the most part. He is someone that values pleasing a woman. I just don't want to let him down and make him feel like he's not the right man if I can't get some kind of mind-blowing feeling through penetration.
