Sorry, even though I admittedly haven't taken time to read the published research, I do not believe this data. From anecdotal evidence, woman are much less likely to admit to masturbation then men, which skews the data disproportionally. My wife of 20+ years has a difficult time admitting to me that she masturbates. A close female friend of mine openly admits to enjoying kissing other women, and would like to include multiple partners, but turns three shades of red when the topic is masturbation. Unless they gave an incentive for people to be completely open, or used a lie detector, I simply don't believe data that suggests only 38% of women masturbate in the US. I personally think it is north of 60%, perhaps much higher. -
As you state yourself, this is anecdotal information based on the women you are surrounded by in your geographic location, your social/economic standing and religion. The US is a huge country with people of various religious backgrounds, educations, social class, ethnicities, economics, etc. You cannot generalize your personal non-scientific observations to an entire population within a country of over 314 million. There is always some level of research error, especially when it comes to private issues such as sexuality, but it would be for both men and women.Sorry, even though I admittedly haven't taken time to read the published research, I do not believe this data. Has the definition of casual sex changed or something? I assumed it just meant sex outside of a commited relationship, such as a friends with benefits type of situation. Someone else recently told me that casual sex meant having one night stands or bar hopping with random guys, which is what I've never done. I've always had NSA sex with people that I knew well, whether it was an ex or a friend that I've gotten to know well."Dating is like slow dancing. To get a real number you would need to poll all individuals in US to make it a study about the US. That would account for all ages, demographics, religions, etc. Since that is an impossibly feat what is left is anecdotes with someone somewhere always disagreeing with what is read because it may not agree with their personal anecdote...a woman could be masturbating twice a day so they would not agree that the number is 38% in women or a woman could not at all and say 38% is high. All that can be gathered is what comes forth from who answers. That is why studies with high numbers of participants is typically chosen over those stupid magazine articles that may say "75% of women masturbate!" even though the total number that responded was 100...hardly a number of use lol. In an overall sense thinking about how many women these days may honestly not masturbate regularly due to a variety of reason I would say that number is in the 30-40% range. Anecdotes are fine but one must think of the overall, all the elderly, all the young kids 14-18, the adults, then factor in how big of a role religious upbringing plays into it or totally confusion of how to even masturbate. It is also a matter of the question, "have you ever masturbated?" may reveal a higher percentage than "do you masturbate regularly?".Sorry, even though I admittedly haven't taken time to read the published research, I do not believe this data. Yes some women report feeling a good sensation from their cervix being hit while the majority say it can really hurt. If it works for that particular woman than great it works. I am not sure what you are describing about the male thing though, pushing the head of penis into itself? Or do you mean as though a man pushed his penis onto a woman's leg for example so that the contact would force his penis back a little into his body I guess you can say? If that is what you mean then I would say that idea is very limited in pleasure for men, once there is an erection if you try to push that muscle back into itself it can cause injury, much like when a woman is on top and she may sit down funny and push his penis in a way that "snaps" it. Just because an individual may receive pleasure from an uncommon method does not mean other individuals have the capacity to have the same pleasure if they tryLike, I've heard women talk about the weird sensations they derive from bumping the cervix. Some claim it can bring them to orgasm. What I've never heard or seen one other soul mention is the (analogous?) sensation men get from the penis being pressed towards the body.
If a woman's clitoris for example has given her no issue in the past with say too much sensation or there is no pain from rubbing it then yes she could have the ability to orgasm if that happens to work for her. If that manual rubbing of her clitoris happens to be her preferred method of orgasm then that is simply how that woman is despite attempts to achieve it in other ways. Remember the primary center of sexual pleasure as you state it as is the visible clitoris, the woman has the greatest chance of orgasm if that is stimulated. If other things happen to work for that individual woman then great she has more ways than one to orgasm. But if they can climax via stimulation of the primary centers of sexual pleasure (clitoris/penis), it would seem to make sense that they are able to climax when these are used in their basic ways - provided the person is sound physically.
No it has not changed, casual sex when someone mentions it is simply most referred to as the one night stands such as bar hopping. NSA sex can still be regarded as casual since there is no real relationship. But it just depends on the two individuals involved, the guy may still not give two hoots about getting a woman off...just call the friend and bang then leave type thing. Or it could be between two people who want to take the time having a pleasurable time which could mean a lot of variety of foreplay and sex and things. If there is more concern for dual pleasure and both parties are willing to listen to what either person likes/dislikes then I see no problem with mentioning that oral sex is preferred. The guy will probably still want penetrative sex, because that could be his preference, but you can explain that for the orgasm portion you prefer it via oral stimulation.Has the definition of casual sex changed or something? When the penis is erect if it is pushed towards the body (say by a hand placed on the head perpendicular to the penis exerting a force parallel to the shaft or by bottoming out in the vagina) there is a pleasurable sensation. I'm not talking about enough force to snap it. I'd be surprised if I'm the only one.I am not sure what you are describing about the male thing though, pushing the head of penis into itself? I don't know if I'm understanding why you keep making comments like this. Do you not recognize that the entire clitoris can be stimulated during PIV sex from the movement of the labia and rubbing against the man's pubic bone?"Those sowing seed with tears

I have noticed that when I talk about casual sex, some people (especially men) assume that I'm referring to picking up people at bars. All what I'm referring to is two people that aren't committed, yet are willing to explore each other sexually.
I make it clear to men that giving oral sex is the ultimate turn on for me."Dating is like slow dancing. Let the man lead, or you will fall all over your feet"Comment

Oh ok I understand, just a simple press because it is hitting something basically. That can easily be attributed to the head of the penis being sensitive to said touch/force. You could just have more sensation to that particular motion or angle or whatever it may be in that situation, I do not think you are alone in it though. It would make sense to have some feeling from that small bit of pressure or force pressed against the head of the penis, it is quite sensitive so if a found manipulation works for you or another guy then great you have more to explore lol. When the penis is erect if it is pushed towards the body (say by a hand placed on the head perpendicular to the penis exerting a force parallel to the shaft or by bottoming out in the vagina) there is a pleasurable sensation. Yes I do and I said that if a man has physical contact with the clitoris such as the pubic bone pressing against then there can be the chance of an orgasm because of that contact. That pressing against the clitoris is absent in other positions such as doggie or even if a woman is in reverse cowgirl. But simply moving labia around is not the type of stimulation that direct clitoral stimulation is referring to. Some women can orgasm from breast play and when having PIV sex a woman's boobs can giggle and move too but that does not mean she will have an orgasm via her breasts just because her boobs are moving, things are moving yes but that does not mean that it is enough to create an orgasm. Same with the clitoris, if a guy is in missionary position without some of his body weight on her pressing that pubic area onto her clitoris then the moving of the labia may not be enough to actually stimulate the clitoris enough to have an orgasm, said example position of that would be her legs over his shoulders with her not rubbing her clitoris at all just purely based it off of PIV. Then there is the issue of a woman's clitoris not being so sensitive to minute touch such as moving labia and having a resulting feeling in the actual clitoris, some women simply need absolute direct contact with fingers or whatever to even feel anything. Simply moving skin around due to the actions of PIV, her not touching her clitoris at all, does not mean the clitoris is getting enough attention to create an orgasm.Do you not recognize that the entire clitoris can be stimulated during PIV sex from the movement of the labia and rubbing against the man's pubic bone?
Yeah sometimes you just need to make it clear with people so that they know what you mean lol. People just jump to the most common situation. If you are talking openly like that with casual partners and they are receptive then A+ for you lol, you get your side of the pleasure tooI have noticed that when I talk about casual sex, some people (especially men) assume that I'm referring to picking up people at bars. I did have vaginal penetration for the first time in a year, and it still felt "raw" and slightly hurt. It was definitely tolerable and nowhere as excruciating as some other past experiences, but my partner told me to stop and how he didn't want to see me in pain. I'm at least glad the man I was with didn't make fun of me or think I was weird for not being able to fully go through intercourse. I've also heard that condoms can dry a woman out.
I knew I wasn't aroused enough, but I still did it. I was just so eager to make penetration work. I find it frustrating when you don't always know how long it will take to get you ready. I couldn't achieve an orgasm last night, because that's usually the surefire way of me knowing when my body is ready to take in penetration. As time progresses, I have a feeling that my body will feel more comfortable with this person.
