    Women's ideal amount of sex

Ladies, what is your ideal amount of sex? Some of you will claim quality over quantity, but I will allow you to answer under 2 seperate rubrics: a) assume the quality is the quality you get now or b) assume the quality is the best realistic quality (ie not the fictional bouncin-of-the-walls, swingin-from-chandeliers, or crack-the-freakin-headboard type of sex).

Please specify if you would like to have it a certain number of times per week/day or if you prefer to engage in love making for a certain amount of time, eg 2 hrs per week regardless of how many times you had sex.

Please be as detailed as you wish cuz I'd love to hear it.

There is no hard and fast rule about this in my case. I guess on average we have sex maybe four times a week, but it varies. It depends on where I am in my cycle, how busy the week is, and how stressed/tired/energetic I am. This being Thanksgiving week, it's been a bit fruity and stressful, so not as much sex this week. We made love Saturday night and then not again until last night. I would like to make love again tonight but the way today's going I doubt I'll be conscious enough to do it.

As for time, I love long relaxed romantic lovemaking episodes. An hour or two is lovely, but this is real life and that doesn't happen often. Last night was maybe 20 or 30 minutes.

More than they're getting now...but less then you want.

FYI - "Please be as detailed as you wish cuz I'd love to hear it. " Is kind of a creepy and somewhat immature request - IMO.

That's really funny. Especially since female desires can really seem just that convoluted. My wife told me that she wants me when I'm away. What is up with that???

The request does sound creepy when you read it the way you did, but I didn't read it that way at first. I read it as a guy that's considering getting into his first serious relationship and is concerned about female sexuality and anxious to know what problems he could be facing as a man with a high sex drive. I think that's a legit question. Maybe a_dub could clarify what his reason for asking is and he'd get a better response.

^Yeah thats pretty much it...but what would exactly be defined as "high sex drive"? I mean yeah I think about sex prolly 100x a day (what guy doesn't) - but maybe thats because I'm not getting any. But generally speaking when the urge hits, I just give myself a good ole fashion tug and I'm usually set to go about my day for the next several hours. So if I masturbate 2x/day, I'm good to go. But is that a high sex drive? Because if time spent is only 20 mins per day...that would be like just 20 mins of sex per day and after I bust I'm done. Is that enough to keep up with most women?

What is considered as "high" is entirely subjective. Every person you ask could give a different answer. Someone who thinks about sex 100+ times a day may think that is well in the realm of normal and not "high" while a person who is not so keen on sex may believe even thinking about sex that much easily defines a high sex drive. When it comes to sex there is so much of it that is subjective that there is often no real answer.

But to answer your original question I am fine with 2-3 times a week. I am not a woman who needs it to happen every day and I will admit I do not even think of sex everyday and that is just who I am. Time wise I do not need it to take a long time, honestly doing the same thing over and over can get boring as there is only so much you can do before it becomes repetitive. However a 2 minute session is not exactly something I would want lol, so if I had to give a time roughly 15-20 minutes would be an ideal length which is basically what my bf and I do now anyway.

Daily and if it isn't quality sex I've been known to annoy him multiple times daily. It took 3 times and some toys until I was too sensitive to continue to make me happy today. I'll take a quickie so long as I get another one 5 hrs later so it pays to take the time with me.

Is that 15-20 mins of P in V thrusting or does that include foreplay and stuff? I thought most women take 30 mins or so to orgasm...then again some women have told me it just takes 5 seconds on their clit for them to bust...

My ideal is at least 6 times a week maybe more because sometimes we like it multiple times a day. Sometime we dont make it to 6 though, if hes had a really hard day at work.

Time wise we usually go for at least 15-30mins and sometimes we can do a quickie within 5 mins lol

I should have said "healthy sex drive." The answer to your question is part of the problem with your goal for this thread, in my opinion. It is an interesting thread, but you can do all the polling and asking you want and figure out about the average woman. When you get a woman she's not going to be the average woman, but an individual. It's going to be difficult to know exactly how she'll view sex in a relationship. There's absolutely no way I'd ever get into a serious relationship with a woman again without asking about her sexual preferences and expectations. I think that's your best bet for ensuring a healthy sex life. Ask her.
