Depends on if you want a long term relationship or if you are just hanging out with him for fun. If you see it going somewhere (which sounds like you do) then I would definitely wait. Wait until you feel you are ready, I don't think there is any set time limit, just be comfortable.
You two are seeing a lot of each other so a month may seem like a long time if you are going on 3 dates a week. I think I would wait a month or so, but that's based on only seeing someone on the weekends of every week and a half say.
Bottom line is, just wait until you are comfortable and ready. If this guy really likes you, he won't have a problem with that. And if he has a problem waiting, then he's not for you.Comment

If he is only there for that reason then he is not worth you. You are far more important than that.......If I was young and dating again I would never give a man my body unless I wanted him and was dying to have him touch me sexually and wondered how it felt to have him go up my leg. Unless that sexual hunger was there, why should I fulfill his wants. My treasures are more important than that.......Comment

Having been a serial dater throughout my twenties before I met my husband, I can honestly say that this is how I lived - if he made me wildly horny, I did what I wanted, when I wanted. As a result, I dated guys that I slept with immediately, I dated guys and it never got to the sex before we broke up, and I dated guys where we got around to sex after anywhere from two weeks to a month of dating. My husband and I waited a month and a week for actual intercourse... but everything else had been going on from about the fifth date.
It depends on how you feel. I partially agree with what the others are saying, but I don't think I ever felt I was being taken advantage of... I just felt, this is what I want right now, and whatever happens, happens. The thing is, you have to be able to deal with what happens and not slap your head and say, if only I hadn't slept with him!
I'm not that much younger than you and I think if I were single again, I would still operate the same way. Sexual confidence is a positive attribute.
And of course it goes without saying that I went out with plenty of guys who were of the "I'm screwing this chick tonight" mindset... and I could smell them a mile away. They never got anything, because they didn't want to know me enough to deserve it.Comment

heres the thing
i am very sexually attracted to him but.... i have this thing in the back of my mind that stops me.. i know i have to work it out myself but this is often my thought process. i mean for example after a few date what do we know. like if i slept with him last nite. i would have done so before finding out so many other things to come. yes there will always be someting but in the beginning its all new and today i didnt love his attitude well thank goodness i didnt sleep with him. i mean i may have just been sensitive but i just feel sexual attraction is great but knowin a person is very important too. i may be jaded i am divorced and dont want to meet someone and get stuck but thats another story. lol thanks for all htis support its great.Comment

I was born in the Puritan Generation. I was a virgin when I married but just barely. That was more the norm then or else I was just full of too much Parochial Education. I think now at this late age in life, if I had those days to live over again, I would have been one hot chick.....I often wonder, even though I am married to my dream man, what it would have been like with another man making love to me....I mean what fun that would have been knowing this part of me that has never been loose. Different size ****'s and different touches. Just me being another person and the heat goes on just thinking about it.....Let me tell you it makes for some darn hot sex too.......Honey, have fun. Stay sexual....If you like him keep that hot sexual inner you on fire...ah...to be young again....i am very sexually attracted to him but.... i have this thing in the back of my mind that stops me.. i know i have to work it out myself but this is often my thought process. i mean for example after a few date what do we know. like if i slept with him last nite. i would have done so before finding out so many other things to come. yes there will always be someting but in the beginning its all new and today i didnt love his attitude well thank goodness i didnt sleep with him. i mean i may have just been sensitive but i just feel sexual attraction is great but knowin a person is very important too. i may be jaded i am divorced and dont want to meet someone and get stuck but thats another story. lol thanks for all htis support its great.Last edited by C; 10-21-2007, 07:05 PM.Comment
