After masturbation, scent on my body for a few days even after showering.

I have no STD, no yeast infection or BV. If I masturbate and then take a shower, there's still a slight scent, not on my body but along the outside of my nostrils. It gets worse as the day goes on, the scent seems like it travels all over my arms and legs. Almost like a light oil or something that is scented on me and it transfers to whatever I'm wearing, a coat, jeans, shirt etc..etc..Not sure if anybody else can smell it, I certainly hope not!

I can smell it on my clothes that I wore that day (and this is after showering) and on my sheets ever so slightly. It takes two - three days of showering to rid of the smell completely. Why and what is this? I am clean down there! And this scent only happens after masterbating. Makes me wonder if this is a hormone thing or something that just happens when one gets older (35-40)? This happen to anyone else? It sucks and makes me self conscious.

Someone please reply. Thanks so much. Hope it makes sense!

It's normal for the vaginal scent to linger for days. I can smell it on my hands and penis after sex for as long as you say and maybe longer. It's likely on your nostrils because you touch your face with your hands. The same for your clothes and sheets. It doesn't just wash off.

I have smelled a musky scent from women, but I have a sharp sense of smell. Incidentally I've smelled the vaginal scent more on men, probably because I've worked more closely to men. My wife has changed her towel and reshowered before because I smelled her at very close up. It fixed it so that no one else would be able to smell her unless they were at a range that merits my fist smashing into their face. My father has also mentioned to me that he has smelled women.

If your clothes, wash towels, and body is clean you shouldn't worry. You smell it more because it's your body and your scent.

      Thanks for the reply.

Yep, I do wash clothes, towels and my body is clean. Shower daily either way.

Am hoping some women on here could relate to this? I can't be the only one - Minus Stillness's wife.

I knew when my wife was going to have her period the day before because of her scent. She has gone through menopause and I never get that intriguing scent from her any more.

In college a boyfriend I had knew if I was on my period because he could smell it. Like fish, I think he said. I hope he liked fish! We never had sex, by the way.

Not like fish. A musky smell that was intriguing. Anyway a time for good sex.
