I wasn't quite sure where to put this, but maybe someone here has had similar experiences.

I know it's common to have orgasms during erotic dreams, but I'm in my mid 20's and have been having orgasms while have dreams that aren't sexual at all.

For example, last night I was dreaming about being on vacation with friends in Las Vegas and in the dream I was packing my suitcase to go back home and out of nowhere I start having an orgasm.

Does anyone what might cause this to happen? It usually happens 2 or 3 times a month. I'm not complaining at all, because they're really good orgasms, I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Also, there have been a few dreams I've had where I've been in a "race against the clock" type situation, like I have to find something before I run out of time, or I have to not be late somewhere - where I have an orgasm. Is it a neurological thing?

Which type of orgasm do you experience? If you are referring to a G-Spot orgasm you may find a link between having a full bladder and having an orgasm while you dream. Perhaps this may be the cause. I know personally if i really need to pee I can sometimes orgasm because of the pressure on the bladder on the G-Spot. I havent experienced this during dreams though but perhaps something to consider?

While we are asleep, our sexual organs are much stronger supplied with blood than the rest of our body. So it is easier to get aroused and for some people even to orgasm. Maybe this could be a possible reason for your experiences.
