me and my ex broke up around 4 months ago but he use to live in the apartments near my house and we would have sex alot. way more then 3 times a week i was 19 at the time and he was 21...however i agree with the girl above...the closer you are from week to week it varies on how much sex you have in a week. often times i find that the best times to have sex were when it wasnt planned. like hop in the shower with him before you guys start your day that was what we used to do. its a good way to spice it up or make it more frequant if thats what you want. but had we been living together i know we would have had alot more sex then 2-3 times a week but everyone is different!

Wow ok so I read this post and was so surprised (not to offend you or anything). I'm in the same age group as yourself and when I was living with my previous boyfriend I was having sex almost always everyday. I too had a hectic schdule. I went to school full time (at campus, none of this online stuff) and worked two jobs. He didn't go to school and didn't work as much as I did so granted that could have an affect on the sex as well.

At the beginning of our relationship I wanted more sex than he did, but we adjusted and worked things out.

My advice on most all problems is talk it out with him. If you feel you're getting enough and he is than great. If someone feels they aren't getting enough than work towards a compromise.

I don't go along with averages and what is normal, it's what satisfies you and makes you happy.
