um . . . voyeurism turn-on?
So my fiance and I went out of town this past weekend to go to a concert, and we spent Saturday night in a hotel. We had sex that night, and on the way home yesterday he let slip that it would be cool if someone was staying in the room next door and that they heard my orgasm. I thought it was a strange remark; his explanation is that it's a turn on for him to think that other people realize he's good at turning me on or something like that.Usually we are hoping that the neighbors _don't_ hear us, but he says the anonymity of a hotel makes it different. I'm still trying to figure that out and he can't put it any better than that. (He is such a doofus sometimes!) Anyone ever hear of anything like this? -
This reminds me of the song "Neighbors Know My Name."
I think it's the old male ego talking. He probably fantasizes that they'll get a glimpse of him walking out of the hotel room. Time will slow down a bit as everyone realizes that he was the one - the man that drove his woman up the hotel walls last night. The ladies glance longingly. The fellas admire. And as he struts by he recognizes the awe of the onlookers with a look and a slight nod that says, "Yeah, that was me. That's how I lay it down." Then he checks out of the hotel and out of their lives forever..."Those sowing seed with tears
Will reap with a joyful shout." - Psalm 126 -
There are a lot of people who are in some way exhibitionists, who are excited by the idea of being watched. There are a lot of people who are voyeurs, who are excited by watching . The internet is a wonderful tool for making both happy.
Seriously though, this isn't very unusual, but not something you need to go along with if you don't want.Comment

Years ago I was with a young lady at a hotel who I brought to multiple orgasm with my hands. She was a bit noisy when she got going, so the nearby rooms might have heard. I did not find it a real turn on but I got satisfaction from a job well done.
I have heard similar noises in the past (although muffled by the walls) and in the worst cases, they have caused frustration.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
