I have always had a higher than normal sex drive ever since I can remember. When I was in my teens, it was to the point that someone I knew who was older than me basically said 'you're libido hit you early'. I'm not in a place of not being able to control myself; however, at the same time, I know under the right conditions, I could potentially wear most men out. I'm just being honest and read. I've felt like a freak until last night when doing a web search found other women who say the same thing. Some say the same as me in that they could have round 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 in the same day. I'm very offended when I hear people say that having sex is 'a wifely duty' because I think it should be even on both sides of the relationship; it wouldn't be a duty for me as long as physiologically the man made a perfect fit
I'm wondering, though, could a drive like this have any roots in past hurts or molestation...or is something like this just a blessing I'm blessed with...I definitely don't see it in a negative way AT ALL... One other thing, I'm in my thirties and am wondering if it would be wiser to date people my age or younger since my sex drive is so high...I've heard that men 40+ begin to dwindle in their sexual desire (but who knows maybe there is a man out there with a higher sex drive than most men just for me

I think attitude is more important that sex drive. Let's say you find someone to spend the rest of your life with that has a high sex drive like you, but gets hooked on pornography and wants to play with himself all day instead of you. And sex drive for all of us varies if you live long enough. Hormones, accidents, sickness, medication, mental state as well as age can all affect it. But if you can find someone who is committed to satisfying you and feels the same way that you do, the age won't matter a whole lot.

I agree - if you're fine with it, what could possibly be the problem? Better too much than too little.

I wouldn't target specific age ranges for dating though. I know the conventional wisdom is that young guys have more stamina, but it's really much more complicated than that. (Do you want a guy who can come 3 times in a row, for example, if in a short time he'll need to do that just because he can't control himself? Etc.)

If what you're really looking for first and foremost is sexual compatibility (someone who can keep up with you), well ....for one thing that may be a pipe dream, but for another it's probably not the best screening method if you're also hoping for a healthy and fulfilling relationship otherwise. Jerky or inattentive men can be good in bed. It's best to look for someone who is good for you in every way rather than just someone who can meet your sexual needs. There's always masturbation for whatever drive is left unsatisfied. Get a good collection of vibrators and dildos (if you don't already have them) and make friends. I have a very high drive too, and masturbation helps keep it at bay.
