I have to disagree with you on this one. The deeper thrusting in doggy position can cause me pain but I don't get pain from missionary.... Everyone is different I guess. Oh and don't get me wrong.....I love doggy, it's one of my favourites.

Yes but when a woman is aroused enough, her vagina will elongate and her cervix, the neck of the uterus, will lift up and move out of the way.

Claret, I think the vagina extends beyond the cervix slightly forming a small "pouch" if you will. It contains the posterior and the anterior vaginal fornices.
