    sexual positions & pregnancy

my husband and I have been trying for our first child for close to 2 months...

I'm not sure if there are myths or not, but are there any sexual positions that are suppose to help conception happen faster?

Well you can lay on your back with resting your legs on the bed have your husband stay over you and slide in you this way. After he finishes stay in this position as the swimmers will find there way to the egg plus you won't lose any of the seed and your back will not hurt from not having any support. You should lay in this position at least 20 minutes.
When out driving always turn left. Then, should you become lost, you can find your way home by reversing the procedure and always turning right.

I don't think you need any 'special position' to get pregnant, a lot of us take B/C pills to avoid an accident, it only takes one to get through to get you pregnant, I really don't know though, I ever tried to get pregnant..

            I wish you luck

Given that it can take up to 3 days for sperm to work their way up to the ovum and embed themselves in it (which usually happens in the fallopian tubes and which then travels down to implant in the uterus), there is no practical position. However, it is always better for him to ejaculate when he is fully inserted as that places the sperm up next to the cervix. The sperm then has less distance to travel to reach their destination.

Just an FYI, the contractions of an orgasm (her's) are designed to move liquids up towards the cervix as an aid in helping move the sperm (peristalsis of the the uterus and vagina will actually reverse direction during your fertile period and will change direction to assist in your period.)

So you just need to keep the sperm in for as long as possible and let nature take it's course.

That's OK no problem there, Well the position I told you work really very well for my wife and me four times so I was batting a 1,000 on that part. Till she had her tubes tied now we do it for the pleasure and fun now lol.

I will definitely enjoy taking some of this advice lol ... and Claret, you said that a female orgasm can aid bringing liquids up toward the cervix... so if we were to have a simultaneous orgasm, would that help? Lately I've been constantly putting the pressure on him to just finish without worrying about me lol Would me having an orgasm at the same time as him help you think then?

Well, that's one goal to strive for, very erotic and all. But, if he orgasms and then you orgasm next you will increase the action of the vagina and the uterus and in drawing up the ejaculate. The vaginal contractions are rhythmic and if he feels you having an orgasm it just might make his orgasm more pleasurable. I understand you want to get pregnant, but maybe if you just relax and not think of that as the end result you'll have more fun and get the results you want.
