I'm still fairly new to this site, and saw this might be a fun one to respond to haha My husband isn't overly loud or anything, but he does get a little louder on occasions when I know he's really into it (more like choppy panting or grunt/moan combo). Gosh he would probably kill me if he knew I was posting this haha... but yeah, I kind of like when he does it because it's not a constant thing and it kind of lets me know that my hard work is paying off

Panting lol ....I'm having a little trouble with that image.

My favorite sound from guys is growling - kind of low pitched and not particularly articulate. You should avoid saying anything that's not generally complimentary to the woman. "You're amazing" is cool, "gagayayagogogo" not so much.

If yoi can't talk, just growl like a man (no whinnying, no baaing, etc.) and you'll be good. Also don't say "Yee-ah" or "who's your daddy," ever.

Not gonna lie... My husband like being called "daddy" in the heat of the moment and I like it lol... Now if he ever said "Whos your daddy" I have have to be like "whoa.. hold up" and laugh my *** off.

I typically am more quiet. Of course I breathe heavily during sex and will occasionally let out a grunt/moan/'oh yeah' but only occasionally. I always thought it was kind of weird for men to make a lot of noise during sex as that's usually seen as a feminine thing in our western culture but also it may be a more biologic thing too as I am surely not fighting back making the urge to make noise but girls seem to often have to when trying to be discreet during sex.

Regardless, I'm interested in what do women think about it:
Is it a turn off, turn on or does it not make too much difference for you either way?

It makes me so wet when a man can be vocal but not over the top or anything. His grunts let me know I am pleasing him and that is what I aim to do.

Pinky - that's cool, whatever works for you. I was always curious about the "daddy" appeal tho. About the last thing I want to think of during sex is my dad lol. Is daddy supposed to be a general term for 'guy who has authority' or something like that? I hope it's not really supposed to point straight to 'father.'

Has nothing to do with being her father. It is a "pimp" reference. Slang for pimp daddy. Though I'd guess it's lost its meaning and a lot of people use it without knowing what it actually means.

I'm not one for the "daddy" stuff either, but couples have been calling each other stuff like that...well I don't know if I can say since before pimps, but definitely with it being a term of endearment originating with the family.

I feel like Captain Obvious for saying that couples with children referring to one another to their children call each other by these names.

"Can I go over Suzy's house?"
                "Go ask daddy."

                Or

                "Go ask momma."

She's not saying he's a pimp. That carries over into their personal dealings without the children. Then it becomes a term of endearment for lovers.

It's just like "baby." It's kind of creepy if you think about it too hard, but it's just a term of endearment.

Do you know how to say "mother" and "father" in Chinese? "Mama" and "baba."

Haha when it does get said, the last thing I'm thinking about when I say it is my dad lol.

Yeah Jen, to me its just meant like hes got authority over me at that moment. Usually happens during the heat of the moment when hes being very dominate with me and for us its defiantly doesn't mean hes my pimp..

Thanks all. I was gonna challenge Stillness' "baby" correlation as being only a term of endearment, and point out that daddy in the sexual context is a bit different animal, but then I remembered "Oh baby, oh baby, oh baby ....!"

For some reason, I'm imagining a big, hairy dude with just a bonnet and a diaper on. Thanks, jen.
