The whole sock-shoe thing has changed for guys in modern times ....black socks sometimes are okay, and black shoes (athletic type) are okay with white socks that stay low, etc. (That used to be a no-no but it looks cool now.)

I agree Jenn, the khaki shorts with golf shorts with black or brown dress shoes with black/brown socks. Now that is very nerdy and very bad fashion statement period.

It's not a good look take my word for it. My neighbor leave his house many times dress like this as I just shake my head of why.Told my wife to shoot me if I had ever dress like this at all period.

mine was many years ago with an ex GF - she was babysitting and I popped around with some dinner..... the child (12 months?) was asleep in bed so GF showed me around the house. yeah - funny that was in 1994? and to this day I can still remember that handkerchief..... it was a grey color with a burgandy border and had burgandy and white stripes.... I just remember her folding it back up, so I assume she just put it back in the draw.
my GF baby sitted this familys child regularly over the next 4-5 years, but I never went around there again (wasn't invited!)
