I get that women can have a higher sex drive prior and during ovulation but I find I am wanting sex all the time during my period. I know it's messy but it's worth the mess. How many others crave sex during their period? I know there are extremes as in some women won't have sex or will do anal only during their period but not me I need the real thing. I'm also interested in the man's perspective.....how do you feel about sex when it's going to be messy due to blood?

I find my sex drive goes into overdrive a couple or so days before I come on. During my period I can take it or leave it. My current boyfriend will pretty much leave it though.

I want sex all the time, and being on my period is no different. My sex drives increases even more so, actually. I have had sex on my period, and just put a towel down. It's wasn't that messy and was enjoyable.

A couple of days before I'm super horny. So horny it hurts. It lasts until the second day of my cycle. And it doesn't matter if it. But if ok I don't I'm dreaming about sex. It's like I crave it like sugar. Lol

We never use a condom. Having my period makes no difference to our sexual activity.

Thanks, motorguy, but it isn't a problem . . . my drive isn't unacceptably low at the beginning, but instead higher at the end. essentially, when my man sees that my pills are almost done he knows he's about to get lucky. :-)

Well that's good then it seem that birth control pill effect women in all different ways it seem.I guess guy don't need a calender then just follow your pill pack lol.

That went to the same with me and my wife until she got her tubes tied then that issue went away then. But we always never used condoms during sex so i always finished off in her everything time.

I am 100% the same way. Sex often makes my cramps worse, but that doesn't dampen my sex drive during my period. My fiancee isn't opposed to it, although he takes precautions (a hideous beach towel with parrots on it) so we doesn't ruin the sheets. Though it's swollen and sore inside, that somehow serves to make intercourse even more pleasurable.
