Size only matters in the sense that you need to have something to work with. My hubby is on the big side biggest one I've been with long and fairly thick but more importantly he knows how to use it which means sex is AMAZING. At first penetration was a little difficult it was a tight fit and it did hurt a little but now it's a lot easier if we don't have sex for a while then penetration will be a bit difficult but it's not that bad really.
Like I said size only matters because you need something to work with. One former BF was very small he looked around 3 inches- no joke and he wasn't that thick either and I literally felt nothing, It was so awkward, I felt so sorry for him. It's all fun and games until you mess with a Portuguese girl.

I've been told by all the few women that I've been with that I am VERY! large, larger than any men that they have seen or been with.I remember this one woman I had started seeing and when the time came for us to get intimate and when she saw my penis. She looked at me and said,"Oh h********l NO! you aren't sticking that big thing in me"and that was the last time we ever got together.Yes we have seen eachother in passing, but never dated again. To be honest,I was alittle hurt that night, because after that.I got to thinking,What are other women gonna say when they see me like she did.
That was definitely rude of her to say, although I admit that I was thinking the same thing with a former partner. I just didn't want to hurt his feelings by saying it out loud.
Some of us women feel hurt too when a large man gets disappointed or makes comments about us not being able to "take it."
I have a female friend that thinks anything less than 10-12 is too small.
So, I think we just have to find the right fit."Dating is like slow dancing. Let the man lead, or you will fall all over your feet"Comment

Stillness,Maybe she was on the smaller side or had been hurt before. You probably saved yourself a lot of headache from dealing with someone like that, though. Telling someone their genitals don't do it for you is going to hurt anyway. But someone who is tactless enough to say it that way is not worth your time.
Sad to say,I figured that out later on after I was with someone who was more caring. After she had sad that to me,it took me a long time before I would get that close and let another woman see me there, because All I couldn't think. What if she say the same thing as the other person I was with, but when the time came.It turned out different.Yes she told me that I was much bigger than she has ever seen and had,but she said that she still wanted me and that if we take our timeand go slow, letting her get use to my size, things will work out fine and it did.Comment

I knew that men are different, but beside from the sizes,I thought that I would be considered to be in the norm of most men out thereMaybe she was on the smaller side or had been hurt before. I wasn't disappointed because she wasn't able to take it.I was hurt because the way she said it and that she didn't even give it a try.I'm the type of guy that if I am with a woman and we are trying something and then she say to me"Stop that it's not going to work" then I bag off and respect what she is telling me,They if I get disappointed because of the, then that would be on me and show that I don't respect her at all.I am the type of guy who doesn't at alltry and forest or push something on a woman that she doesn't want to do.
To be honest with you,I am more sensitive to a woman's needs than my own.I TOTAL!! Respect a woman in every way.Comment

It's the wizard, not the wand
I agree with the other posters who say that it really only makes a difference if the penis is really really big, or really really small.
My husband and I have an open marriage, and I actually have a boyfriend. My husband is about 7.5 inches and the boyfriend is more like 6. But I can tell you that the boyfriend really knows what to do with it... I definitely feel everything during sex with him. And frankly, in some ways, it's even better than it is with my husband... who has a slightly overinflated opinion of his talents anyway. LOL
The other good thing about a slightly smaller penis is that it's easier to give a good blow job.Comment

I also have been in an open marriage and I can say size is a good thing for a guy to have, but it isnt the only thing. Knowing what I like is important, and some of that comes from me to point things out, just as my husband does as well. and that is just for me, each person is different, I think the best thing is to communicate. I initially wasnt happy with my husband because he is slightly above average and I have a thing for larger guys, but we worked on things and built up the best sexual relationship I have ever had.Comment

I have to wonder whether this thread can possibly add any insights or perspective to the more than fulsome airing the topic received here:
I have, in several instalments, read all 38 pages of that thread. It started with Texinator saying:
"Nobody in their right mind cares about the size of any part of your anatomy.
If someone does care, they're superficial and not worth your time and effort.
End of discussion."
Take that, those of you who have here confessed to expressing a contrary view!
I'll be audacious enough to express what I see as the "final word" on penis size/breast size/nipple size/clitoris size/ labia size, and so on.
Yes, some of these things matter to some. I am not sure that makes someone superficial, or not worth one's time and effort. If a woman simply must have that penis that needs to be stored in a missile silo, I say let her go find it. If a guy can only feel attracted to a woman with breasts the size of a hot air balloon, let him go find that woman.
It is likely the case that for most people, these things are of little moment. Most will be attracted to someone as a "whole person" and close scrutiny of individual body parts will not come into play. However, it would be naive to expect that attitude to be universal.
On that one Elena, why feel sorry for him? Maybe he walked away feeling sorry for you, thinking "That poor woman, no one would expect a 2-car garage where a vagina should be."
At least one poster, in the blockbuster 38-page thread I have cited, related being quite well satisfied with a 3-incher. It might be that a guy with 3 inches should not really be an object of pity. I feel the same when I read on this forum girls saying they have been teased or openly made the subject of rude remarks about breast size. Are they pitiful? Those making the stupid remarks certainly are, but I would never pity a woman with small breasts.
And Elena, I am not intending to take a shot at you. You have simply stated quite candidly that you would not be happy with a man with a 3-inch penis. As I said above, I would not go so far as to say you are "superficial" for feeling as you do. I'd say you are entitled to have your preferences. Similarly, for a guy that simply must have big boobs in his face to get aroused, I'll not tell him he is shallow. But I would spare the pity for those who do not suit ones's preferences. They should not be pitied for their physical attributes that some indeed will find desirable.
As pointed out on the other thread, even vaginas come in different sizes. Most of a vagina is internal, hidden from view, so size differences are less conspicuous. Some will be a better fit than others for a particular penis. In an ideal world, we all find the perfect match.
The woman I married is a perfect match for me. She told me long ago that her bf before me was bigger. Is my ego deflated as a result of that revelation? Not at all. Au contraire. She told me that sex with him was uncomfortable and sometimes painful. She did not enjoy having her cervix pounded. She told me - and I don't think just to stroke my ego - that she never had an orgasm with him through intercourse. With me, she is able to orgasm through intercourse most of the time. She married me, not him, and that was more than a year after we first started a sexual relationship, so she certainly knew what she was getting with me, and she was obviously content. So for her, my less-than-monster unit is a good fit.
My wife is somewhat insecure about her breasts. I know that to be a common insecurity. My wife is just generally small, about 4' 10" tall and 90 lb. Big boobs would make her look like a pasture animal. I completely adore her small ones. This past week we were on a bit of a road trip. We were in Portland, Oregon during afternoon rush hour (or 2 or 3 hours). I was getting a bit grumpy, I guess. She said something about making me feel better and in that instant she pulled her blouse off her right shoulder, showed me her right breast, and put my right hand on it. Boy was she right! Cheered me right up! Would some say: "Gee. kinda' small." Yeah sure. Do I care? Not a whit. Should she care? Not for a second.
