Hahaha!
Hypothetically if you could disinfect your body, breath and cough into a different room or some kind of sterile mask, then as there would be no mouth involvement and no breathing over your wife...she shouldn't catch anything. However, It only takes one viral particle or one bacterium to swoop up her nostril and she could be doomed. Maybe if you both wore full on biohazard suits after the whole body alcohol dip then that would be safer...though I suspect you'd need a rather particular fetish and some real determination to accommodate that! I'd just wait until you are well again

I don't think our bodies are meant to do anything when we are ill, it's our body's way of saying lay low, you need a rest.. You must be Superman
Any infection has a risk of being passed on in my opinion and it's better to keep a distance.
I manage to "not" catch what ever D has, but there is a rule, he can not kiss or hug me (breathe on me) and sleep the other way facing the wardrobe not me for 3 days. Seems to work.
Main thing is Stillness, get better from the sounds of things thy penis still rises over the sun and the moon

Super-Hornyman.
No joke, this got so bad, that last night I started writing some things to my wife and family – like, last word things. It’s the worst.
The thing won’t allow me to get more than 3 or so hours of sleep a day in 1 hour increments. It’s malicious. I was able to get a little more last night though – a solid, whopping 2-2-1/4 hours. That allowed my body to start to get a little mastery over it. I should be able to get a little more soon.
I practice safe sex.

Stillness, this worries me.
Medication is meant to make things start to get better, agonising pain worries me how long have you had this and how long have you been on medication?
I do remember getting what I believe to be the Swine Flu, when I was in Oklahoma a few years back, though I did find 3 large ticks on my body, whilst at the air port, won't go there, never seen them before..
I was ill for two months, but like a flu only 100 times worse. I couldn't even stand up or walk easily whilst trying to get back home to Australia.
I have heard there is another break out over there and wondering if "perhaps" you have a mixture of a viral infection with the swine flu combined. Irrespective can you go back and get some more tests and explain things aren't getting better quickly?
I feel for you, feeling that low as to start writing down things for family means you are at your lowest.
Then again, you are a man and us women are much tougher : )(Had too) .. What did Chaya have that knocked her for a six for 3 weeks? Maybe there is something in that, spreading over there.PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment

Chaya and I share a country, but live in very different parts of it. She's probably closer to you than I.
Whatever I got is a king among viruses. I'd fear this getting in someone's hands that wanted to do people harm or even just spreading. Nothing in my life has ever done this to me. I suspect that as vigorous as I am, my life may have indeed been in danger if I didn't have my family, especially my wife. My aunt has, who's a nurse has given me a lot of counsel to help mitigate the pain. That allowed me to get teeny bits of sleep. Now I'm winning. But she was also very concerned about the pace of my recovery.
Your fears are legit. Maybe I'll try to take a trip to my doctor in the next couple of days for the sake of the public. The care I got was not from them, because they weren't open.
Also, I do believe it's a fact that women have higher pain thresholds. So you're not entirely wrong, even if you're not PC. You never have to be with me, though.
I'll let you all know if what I have is identified."Those sowing seed with tears

My hopes are dashed. My theory is dead. My wife told me she felt badly at work. By the the time she came home I heard the all-too-familiar pattern of her cough. It's the same as mine. It seemed to get her rapidly.
We're acting quickly too. I had her schedule a doctor's appt for tomorrow. I encourage others to do the same if you feel something coming on. My only hope now is that the doctor's theory about mine being a mixed infection is true and that being the reason I couldn't handle it. Maybe she only got the viral portion.
She sounds so pitiful saying, "I don't want to be sick." I danced for her. She got a kick out of that and was surprised at how well I'm doing. I felt so badly for the death scare. I wanted her to see me strong. I let her know I'll take care of her like she took care of me. I went to bed early from exhaustion hoping to get a solid night's rest. I'm back up at midnight. I'm still sick.

Stillness,
We get sick, you live with someone, off course there is every possibility they may get sick too, you can not feel guilty.
What you both need to do is ascertain exactly what it is, as not getting all weird on you or anything but there are some serious viruses out there at present, bought back from South America, then now I'm being a "wally" but we don't know what is happening with this war either and what things we eat from where may be harmful.
Neither will be your case I am sure but please ensure they run all tests to find out what you both have and get underway in getting you both better.PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment

There's something going around the US that they are calling a super virus. My cousin and her baby almost died. They have been on antibiotics, steroids, and nebulizer treatments for weeks with occasional hospitalization. She's back at work but relying heavily on an inhaler.
They actually found recently in some studies that women have both more pain sensation and a protein that signals pain that men don't have so women are dealing with more pain when an injury happens than men are (on average). The guess is it goes back to when there was a split of men hunting and women gathering food. They also found most women can see more shades of color than most men. Possibly to help ID proper food sources. Also, I do believe it's a fact that women have higher pain thresholds. So you're not entirely wrong, even if you're not PC. You never have to be with me, though.Comment
