When sex isn't on the cards, what do you do to cope?
It's been what feels like ages since I had sex. I've masturbated regularly but my body is aching for my SO. I want the real thing - him. If you've had to go for a long time without sex what do you do to keep your mind off the frustration you feel? -
Most of the time, I find creative outlets. Sometimes, I get myself involved in researching topics of interest.
It's hard to not think about it, but thinking about it makes me crazy and ****ed. Thinking about it causes me to sabotage the rest of the relationship. It hasn't been ages, but two-and-a-half weeks feels like ages to me. The longer I have to wait, the more I think about it. I feel like the cat, sitting at the back door, waiting for someone to let me in. I'd be better off to go chase mice and take a nap on the porch rail than to sit there waiting and hoping.Comment

Ever since I've had sex for the first time, more than 3 decades ago, I've never had to go without it for longer than a little less than two months. It happens when I'm on my 7 weeks vacation trips alone. Then, I'm so busy visiting new places, diving and snorkeling, making new friends, I can cope with just masturbation in the evenings.
If I had to go without sex for longer, I'm sure sports would help, as well as my many hobbies.Comment
