My SO loves his neck being licked, sucked or bitten. One day I got the urge to lick his face while I was on top of him and it drove him absolutely wild - he loved it!! It took everything he had not to orgasm immediately.
I love my neck being licked and sucked but prefer either gentle tugging on my nipples or sucking them over licking.
So off topic now but the build up of excitement knowing my SO will be home early in the new year and imagining how much we're going to devour each other when he finally comes home has me thinking that some of the best sex people must have is the sex you have after not seeing each other for a while. I cannot wait
we won't be able to keep our hands off each other.

Now that you mention it, licking and kissing the neck during missionary sounds hot! Or licking fingers during cowgirl? Woohoo"Dating is like slow dancing. Let the man lead, or you will fall all over your feet"Comment

I don't think of this as selfishness. When I say selfish the lover never bothers to do anything for their partner. Everything is for them selves. doing all the work and letting your partner lay back and enjoy it is the opposite of selfish. If the partner demands it and never gives anything in return, that is selfishness.Regarding selfishness-
I've said it before, and I will say it again. Some of the most intense intimacy I've had is ME doing all of the work and letting the guy lay back. Then, we would cuddle afterwards and I didn't want anything done to me. The euphoria from giving someone oral was more than enough for me.
In order for me to receive, I have to be in the right mood and the person has to be good at it.
The biggest turn off during a sex is a man that just doesn't get your preferences.
I have on several occasions done the same for my wife, either in the couch while she watches TV or in bed. This is something I love doing for her and I know she loves it, the total reaction she has afterwords explains that very clear.
But I know there is a lot of guys out there that just expects blowjobs and intercourse without giving an effort. The same with girls who seems like they think their body alone is "prize" enough for the guy and just lies there doing nothing but opening their legs. These are selfish people.Comment

What I'm referring to is whether my male partner is perceived as selfish, if I'm the one doing the work and he's not. If two people are happy with it, I don't see the problem. Someone once called an ex-boyfriend of mine selfish for never eating me out, BUT he had superb fingering skills that could bring me to an orgasm in minutes. I didn't see that as selfish at all.
To me, selfishness is when a partner wants something and the other partner refuses to do it. A woman may want to be eaten out, but the man just doesn't want to do it."Dating is like slow dancing. Let the man lead, or you will fall all over your feet"Comment

I tried writing in more detail that I do agree with you last line. But it's not black and white as boundaries are ok to have. I don't understand how anyone can deny a partner oral sex thought. I get your point, LexHill.
I once made a thread a long time ago on not being able to enjoy receiving oral sex. My preference is focus on the clit. I don't feel much when someone is inserting their tongue in the vagina."Dating is like slow dancing. Let the man lead, or you will fall all over your feet"Comment
