    Our problem.....

I am in a wonderful marriage and my wife and I love each other very much. But we have one little problem in our intimacy I am kind of large in endowment. And my wife, who has never had children and has not had a lot of sexual partners in her life, is kind of small and tight, so full intercourse is nearly impossible for us because it is quite painful and unpleasant for her. We have discussed everything a lot and we considered a reduction surgery for me but neither one of us wants that. But we really want to enjoy a fulfilling sex life together with complete and pleasurable intercourse. Can we please ask some experts and people with experience in this same problem for some helpful advice? What kinds of things can my wife and I do to achieve and enjoy full satisfying intercourse together?

Even the smallest of women can accommodate a full-term baby so should be able to accommodate a large penis. It sounds as if she might be suffering from vaginismus which is: Vaginismus is a condition that can make sexual intercourse, gynecological exams and even tampon insertion painful, if not impossible.

The pain experienced during vaginismus is caused by the involuntary contraction of the pelvic floor muscles - specifically the pubococcygeus (PC) muscle group - leading to generalized muscle spasm and temporary cessation of breathing. Secondary to pain, women may be unable to insert tampons or undergo gynecologic exams.

There are exercises and treatments available.

This can worsen over time so she should see a specialist as soon as she can.
That which we forget may as well never really happened.

I can't add much to Claret's response, but to encourage a medical evaluation for her. And encourage you also, that there's a good chance that you two can enjoy the sex life that you want in the future. Keep patience and understanding with her in the meantime.

There are pelvic physical therapists that specialize in these issues and that have very high rates of success.

Thanks everyone for the helpful input. My wife is Asian and raised in a conservative Asian culture, so for example her mother didn't allow her to even have a boyfriend until the start of her 30's. After much discussion we think the whole issue is mostly the fact that she has not had much sex in her lifetime and so her vaginal tissues have not experienced much normal stretching yet.

Maybe you could buy a set of dildos designed for gradually stretching the vagina (also known as vaginal dilators).
