Every time I have sex or am about to have sex I start to feel extremely nauseous to the point where I almost vomit. On other websites and forums people have said that this can be attributed to anxiety, but I don’t see how that applies to my situation since I’m wanting to have sex whenever the nausea occurs. I have been dealing with this issue for a while and would love to eventually get past it. Has this happened to anyone else??

don't know if your nausea is a nervous response or something else

but even if a person wants to do something, one can still be nervous about the event/situation
sometimes even more so because one really wants it or wants everything to be perfect or go right

Choose the term excited instead

What is your age, if you don't mind me asking? If you're younger, this may be something that Goes away with time and experience. If you're fairly new to sex, say just a few years in, I'd expect the symptoms to resolve eventually.

If you know sex is a possibility, maybe have some nausea tea. Peppermint is great for nausea too, and has the added benefit of nice breath!

Okay, excited makes more sense to me! I am 20 years old and have been having sex for about a year and a half. Thank you so much for your help!

I'm pretty sure I've heard of this before and from someone on this site. I did a little search and couldn't find anything, though. I'd recommend using the search feature yourself. There are tons and tons of discussions about and endless number of issues here. Sometimes it's cool just to know you're not the only one struggling.
