Sorry, I really didn't mean to come across as judgemental. In actual fact I was just curious as I'm personally at a point in my relationship with my OH where I think it would be beneficial for her to get a f buddy with my full consent. So I'm purely interested in the dynamics of consensual polygamy, open relationship or whatever you might call that type of arrangement.

But I totally respect if the OP doesn't feel like answering the question, I understand it's personal.

You know, there are a lot of great places online that specialize in that kind of information, specific reddit threads for example. FetLife is also a good place to lurk and get a feel for different relationship types and how they're working out for different couples.

Can I ask if your long distance partner knows you plan to get a f buddy and would they still carry on seeing you regularly if they knew that was going on? Or are you going to keep it a secret?
