    Addiction to sex

Since turning 30 I have become so much more interested in sex than ever before but over the past year I think I have actually developed an addiction to it. I think about having sex with almost every man I see (within reason), and when I go out for a drink, if possible I will end up having sex with someone. I'm not proud of this but I can't seem to stop it. I'm married and have a 5 year old child but I still want sex with strangers. I try to avoid sex with my hubby as I don't feel any passion with him. If he was willing to have an open relationship that would be great but I know he wouldn't. Anyone else in the same situation?

OK, my opinion is that you need to end your marriage.

You can still bring up a child, whatever. But there is no point in you being married, whatsoever. It's only hurting both of you.

Take aside the fact that if your husband found out he would be crushed, and that Anon is 100% correct, as you don't "use" someone, let them find their own life, children will be fine with just mum and you can stand on your own two feet, even if you think you cant.

      But, i can say this.

I lived in a loveless marriage, and found myself "attracted" to other men, and felt very sexual, but that's as far as it went.

Very simply put... Your a sexual person.. You don't have sex with your husband as he turns you off... So, your frustrated, and in addition to sex, you want to feel like a woman, and so you go searching for it... so that you can feel better.

Quite frankly, you need to get out.. end the marriage, and find a compatiable person to you including sexually and enjoy your life with one partner, you'd have just as much fun, sex and romance, whilst feeling loved.

Why settle for 25% of what you can have 100% of?

I have to agree with Anon and CW you need to your marriage. You owe it to him as much as yourself.

Sometimes I wonder whether I want hubby to find out... I sure am pushing my luck! That would be horrible and I'd feel so bad but maybe it would make it easier for me to leave him... but then behaving like I am is not good even if I wasn't married. I should be thinking of my child too, I know. Why am I being so selfish and, frankly, ? Is this just a phase that will pass? Something I will get out of my system and then go back to being a "normal", respectable wife and mother? Maybe I am, as someone said, looking for a more compatible person who will satisfy me enough to not want sex with anyone else... I'd like that.

You're so right in what you said by the way CW, thanks. Wise words.
