Channel 4 TV over here in the UK ran a brilliant series called "How to Look Good Naked" presented by Gok Wan. I bet there are a few plastic surgeons that would like to put a contract out on this guy - he must have cost them millions in lost work - because he takes ladies of all shapes, sizes and ages who are really unhappy about their bodies and proves to them that they are beautiful (which they are). What he does so well is give them the confidence to be happy with themselves and that confidence is, in itself, extremely attractive.

We are not supposed to post links, but there is a series of videos on Youtube on this exact subject. The exact title is "A woman's guide to looking good in the buff" and there is a whole series from that same source, like how to be a good kisser, how to be good in bed, etc.

Did you know that some men hate size 6 women, no meat at all on them, they love curves even love handles it's a turn on to them.. They find it extremely sexy and if you were a nice curvy size as you are now, when you both met, then he was attracted to all of you, mind, body and soul and still is.

You should be jumping up and down, look at me, look at me, to all those girls who aren't getting it, because their boyfriend thinks their fat and won't go near them.

This guy love all of you and your insecurities is what is making things change sexually...

If a man wants a lap dance by a woman that is larger, then he finds HER EXTREMELY SEXY, it's when he doesn't want one that you have to worry about it.

Go and buy some sexy under-wear so that when it's day time, tell him, do what you want with me stud, but leave those on, you can work around them... I bet you'll feel sexy and beautiful and slowly you can rid of those even in daylight.

Big is beautiful don't forget it.

          Couldn't agree with you more.

This thread like immediately sparked my interest because that is exactly how I am. I have always been disgusted by my body, but my boyfriend absolutely loves it. I am completely comfortable around him more now since we had a talk about it. He even told me, If he wanted to be with a skinnier woman, then thats what he would be with. But the first thing that attracted him to me, was my body.

Even if he is looking at you for a long period of time, don't automatically think that in his head he is just pointing out all of your flaws.

BTW We also have that show here, How To Look Good Naked. Looove it. A great show to watch because at some point you WILL see a woman that you can completely identify with.

I myself don't prefer skinny girls(though I'm not one to discriminate lol) I like a little meat one the bones. Love handles can be cute on a lot of girls, little soft tummys, all that. Alot of my gf's have been just like you, but I think that's just part of bein a girls isn't it? Always wanting to be smaller, Couple pounds thinner, hating certain features of ur body, etc. But only petty men will hold that material garbage against you.

I've had that very same problem. I've been with my guy for 3 years, married for 1 and almost the whole time I've been so embarrassed about my body. I'm a bigger girl, size 14-16. My husband is thin and fairly toned (gettin a little round in the tummy lately) and I've always found him to be one of the most attractive men I've ever seen. I used to only want to have sex in the dark or under the blankets during the day. I hated being on top and when we spooned I couldn't stand him touching my stomach. One of the turning points, was that I found some of his porn on the computer, and it was all chubby girls. I slowly realized that he actually did find my body attractive and genuinly wanted to look at me. Even though he told me so the entire time, seeing for myself what he liked was a big help. I started wearing more fitting clothes (he always hated my baggy shirts) and he got even more interested in me. When I got comfortable with that, I moved to being on top (though usually with a tshirt) and realized how much he loved it. Then I started looking for lengerie to wear and found some really sexy stuff. According to him it's just "gift wrap" though. Now I find myself comfortable to walk around the house naked in broad daylight without worrying about him noticing my jiggly thighs or stretchmarked stomach. He loves me and loves to look at me.

Everyone who mentioned confidence here is 100% on it. Even though he found me attractive all along, once I got confident in myself and took more risks, he wanted me even more!

Good luck and remember you're beautiful!! I'm not sure if we're supposed to post links here so if you're interested in a great site for sexy and classy lengerie for size 12+ send me a message. Not only does getting it make you feel better, but the models they have on their site are bigger girls and absolutely gorgeous, letting you know that you don't have to be a skeleton to be beautiful.

I had that same proble after I had my second child. I found that pampering myself made me feel better about me and all I did was have a facial and bought some cute, sexy pj's. Pamper yourself in a way only you can enjoy and relax it will come back to you.

Kalashnikitty, YAY FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!! You are probably one of the most enlightened females I know of! I have always dated/been with women who were way too self-conscious. I've always tried to help them get over this, but to be honest, I feel like my efforts have been in vain. I know how attractive I have found these ladies over the years, but most times they couldn't see themselves through my eyes.

It's really refreshing to come across a woman who gets how AWESOME her man thinks she is! I am in awe of you, and I'm sure as a result of your "enlightenment", you're going to have a much happier and more fulfilling life.

I hope you can stick with this very important topic (heck you ought to write a book) enough to maybe help some of the others on this site who cannot get past not being "perfect". I'm sure that once you got a little more confidence your husband went wild!

Good for you! You're one in a million and I hope that what you have been able to do spreads like wildfire to other ladies who are feeling bad about their bodies.

                  Cheers!

Thank you so much Fire! It really was the biggest weight off my shoulders when I said "To with the world, I'M AWESOME!" hahaha. I just wish I really knew what it was that changed in my head. I wish every woman in the world felt beautiful and it breaks my heart that they don't. I see 10 year old girls thinking that they're ugly and already wanting to change stuff about themselves. I knew an 8 year old who checked calories on everything she ate. It makes me sick to think of what the media is doing to little girls. Perfection is nothing but an opinion. Where as one person might look at me and think I'm fat, another would look at me like a goddess. Those are the people worth my time. My husband treats me like a goddess and I make sure to treat him like the god he is.

Trust me when I say this Fire, your efforts were not in vain and I promise those women remember you telling them they were beautiful. Even if they didn't show it, you made their hearts smile.

Thanks again for the wonderful encouragement Fire, and to everyone reading this, man or woman, you are a sexy, beautiful individual and anyone who tells you otherwise isn't worth thing!

                      You are Beautiful

Now yes I am going to tell you the same thing that everyone else is telling you, and directly from experience.
I am 100 lbs overweight and i have doubts about my body also, but once i met my man thigns started to change. I never knew how beautiful a fullfigured woman was untill i met him. I was always uncomfortable with being naked with my previous partner who i had know for seven years. It was the same old under the covers scene for me everytime. However now, my man literally attacks me when i am naked. the more clothes i take off, the more excited he is. If I even tried to hold on to half of my bra, he would tear it off of me.

once a man decides that he wants a woman with sme meat on her bones, thats it. Just try looking in the mirror everyday, both naked and clothed and tell yourself how god you look, and say it like you mean it. I have done that for so long that I make myself blush.

                      Take care.
