As great as recreational sex is to your mind, to your body it's all about reproduction and the screaming biological imperative to pass on your genes over and over. Incentivizing the real thing.

A real penis is warm, live appendage - it can change according to specific situations, it can get harder or softer, there is blood pumping through it (who needs a panel of rotating beads?) and there's the possibility of pheromones and other cues that let your body know it's not just being tricked.

Would a penis that wasn't attached to a (somewhat unpredictable) man be as much fun?I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

it would be difficult to compare a penis without a man attached to it. Don't know what that would be like. Maybe a more apt comparision would be to a dildo.
If only thinking just about the penis minus the man, then the vibrator would be better. The penis alone couldn't do anything - no orgasm (in most cases) and no other means of pleasure (without a man attached to it) whereas the vibrator would bring you to orgasm.Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose - Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster (sung by Janis Joplin)Comment
