    Lube Shoulder :/

I have been having some... "dryness issues" lately, I think due to birth control. So my boyfriend and I have been using lube in order to ease the process. However, his hands get all lubey and by the time were done my body feels all gross from the lube he has spread everywhere. Do you ladies have any tips to avoid the mess??

Have you mentioned to him how bothersome that is for you?

Keep a towel near by and have him wipe off his hands before he touches anything else.

      Use less? :-)
Or experiment with different lubes, the silicone-based ones, for example. Or gels vs jelly

Curious about the best silicone lube for shower sex?

Read Zoë's review of Wet Platinum Luxury Silicone Lubricant here:

Try shower or bath sex with a silicone or oil based lube! It stays slippery and moist, and wont mix with water or wash off too fast. If you're looking for an out-of-shower lube that is easy to clean then I recommend sticking with a limited ingredient water-based lube. As Texasred mentioned, experimenting with different lubes is a great way to find the right one for you. Some sex stores and online sites sell variety packs of sample sized lubes to try, which might be right up your alley!

There are some great oil-based lubes that feel more like a lotion or moisturizer so the more you touch each other, the more it gets worked into your skin (the skin around the rest of your body). By the time you're done, you won't really notice it at all. Look for lubes made with shea butter, coconut oil, and other similar ingredients.

Another option is a water-based lube -- as long as it doesn't have a lot of fragrance or flavors, it should dry similar to water on the skin and won't leave a sticky residue.
