No doubt. I've heard of people that talked forever online and based on that decided to meet up and get married or whatever. And some have made it work. Good for them, but I don't think that would work for me. People can tell you whatever they want online but as you found out on your date it's much more difficult to conceal the lies when you're face to face.

Even when there isn't any deception going on I think it's difficult to get a really good feeling for someone just through emails or online posts. There's much more to people than just words, things you can only discover when you're meeting face to face and spending some time together.

Being a "soul" woman Tex, we have likeminded people all over the world, that no matter what they say, do it seems to be identical.

Cat mentioned Confident Jerk for in-stance, the amount of time for "business" I have touched base, or given some thoughts, advice, at the exact same moment, he was emailing me re the same thing, or my Property Manager .... then stating "geez scary, I was just calling", etc.

We are "alot" alike in our thought patterns on alot of things. It will be interesting to see whether or not there is even more that we agree on
