I understand that this isn't really an option for a lot of people, but if you ever wanted a huge change... .
I agree when I've been travelling I have never been bothered about LTRs etc just have fun meeting people etc. cool. There are a few more things that are more important than meeting someone. Mostly buying a house. I need my job for this and I think in the current job market it would be career = toilet. May be a sabatical or a long summer break is an option.

    Thanks for the advise

This does seem the most realistic option. I think learning to dance is a useful life skill

      Thanks for the advice

        Yatching - for holidaying
        Trials and Motorcross - competitions
Snowboarding - going on the 19th Dec I can't wait

        Are my main hobbies

There is a similar store called GO Outdoors I'll check!

I am in to anything motorcycles is the only thing I have really stuck with

I sort of half got inviteted on a big snowboard trip next year I'll see if I am really invited

I need to find a local hobby which I can go to dancing or somesort of college course seems to be the answer. As the by product is pretty good

        Thanks again

You'll only find the girl of your dreams... in your dreams!

First, throw out the window any pre-conceived notions about who you think you should be with... Everything from how she looks to how she talks to how smart she is to whatever... you'll quickly find a large number of women you've never even noticed will come into view... ironically, you've probably already met tens of women who would have worked perfectly -- but you ruled them out before even saying hello

Next, take inventory of yourself... wardrobe current? hairstyle modern? music you listen to made recently? stuff you watch/read/see fresh? over your past relationships? live in the now? You get my point... no woman finds excitement with a relic of the past...

Lastly, let her find you! It's a numbers game so you need to increase your exposure, while not appearing superficial but rather genuinely interesting & serious about a relationship.

          That's my $0.03

Always wear a smile. Nothing is lost when you smile, you could even brighten up someone's day before it ever gets ruined. Your face will get less wrinkles, and... ladies always love to look at confident guys, so keep smiling (make sure it's true though).

Relics are preserved in museums. We want new beginnings, new and fresh grounded outlook in life. We want a man who is confident about himself, knows how and when to be driven and when to be laid back. We want a man who is there with us in the NOW, not in his yerterday.

Don't miss any opportunity to meet people of all ages. Who knows, this or that old man or woman has a niece, a daughter, a friend, a friend's daughter, etc...

Network with people with whom you share interests with. If you are the geeky intellectual type, try hanging out in a bookstore. If you are a business type of person and want a career - driven gal, go to business/entrepreneural seminars/trainings - you are learning new skills/concepts, and at the same time meeting people in your interest area. If you are the sporty type, go on a group hiking, rafting, anything...

Be true to yourself, and see what you already enjoy, pursue that for yourself and then when the time is ripe, she'll just come around.

I strongly believe that we meet people not by accident. We meet them for a reason. It is THAT time when we needed them - both positive and negative.

The dream thing was only a headline. I wouldn't pay too much attention. I am willing to give most girls a chance. I don't make friends easily and I have only become friends with 3 girls in the last year all with bfs. I quite fancy one but she has a boyfriend. I don't believe in stealing so I am playing a waiting game. However she is well loved up so can't wait for her.

Wardrobe check; hair check; music check I still go to gigs and buy new music (elbow, band of skulls, arctic monkeys etc.) Read hmm books about the credit crunch and stucy books; past relationship just truth be told Only just. I am not a relic hey I only look 30 (I think). I do tend to go 'safe' with new people I probably need to show more of myself

This is an issue I am dealing with. I will publish 'my list soon' I think there is something in this I am very unsettled at the moment. Need to work on this first

Will reflect on the NOW thing

                driven check; laid back check

I really dont enjoy meeting people, but ok will start putting 'me' out there not sure how this is going to work in practice mybay start with the college and dancing and work from there

Good suggestions will still start with a college course and some dancing

This is going to sound harsh, but the biggest thing you can do to get a female is work on yourself. What do YOU have to offer to her?

So, take up a variety of hobbies which I have started to do. Hit the gym and start building some muscle. Take up an instrument.

What makes YOU worthwhile? Improve upon yourself during your spare time, and you will get better females. It's like college. Work on the degree so YOU can have better job offers.

I think a lot of guys fail to see this.....you gotta have something to offer her as well!
