Yes, that's pretty much what I meant. Offcourse I know not all women are like that, but from what I have seen it's defenitley more than just "some".IDK if BD found that disrespectful, but I think what Hurley is/was trying to say is that women "some", want a man to text/call, so they feel needed and loved...and that's actually quite accurate with "some"....
I didn't find it disrespectful, we all have ways in which we write and it's the internet, anything can be mis-interperated....
Again though Colorado, we know you love us

And also based on your last reply on the other thread
You've clarified that your pet peeve is once a relationship has been established and she never wants to text first or call ...waits instead for his.
If I think about it, my fiance pretty much does the calling but that's because, he's a Chef and I don't know when he will be finished, having said that, I will/do text "I love you" or "thinking of you" sometimes just because.....
It could also be an age thing Hurley, how old are you, your mates and therefore the women you refer to?
No apology required, it's member's like you that make us a familyThen my apologies, I must have read it wrong...

Regardless of intent, I appreciate you taking up for me and the women here Colorado.
Hurley - I didn't feel like you disrespected me personally, I just feel like you have a very distorted narrowminded view of women AND when someone posts a thread (like I did) and someone like you responds without really reading with some negative condescending one liner, it can be a bit frustrating. On top of being frustrating, it's insulting when you make generalizations based on a few of your experiences. That is like saying all men are the same, all black people are the same, all asian people are the same, all homosexuals are the same etc. Get my drift? When things like that are said, it shows ignorance (uninformed) and causes you to lose credibility. If you were to get on here and post your own threads about your thoughts so that people all have a fair chance to respond then that's one thing, but you don't do that, you chime in on someone elses thread and try to take the topic somewhere TOTALLY off of where the OP intended. Your response to my thread would indicate I was expecting my bf to do all the work in our relationship, to make all the contacts etc, and that couldn't be further from the truth..... people don't like to have their words twisted around to suit some sort of complex or emotional problem you may have.
I said to you in another thread that perhaps you should consider pitching for the other team. Obviously I said it in a joking manner, but the point was that alot of things you're saying about "Women" are really about "humans" and seem to be a part of human nature, of BOTH men and women. You wouldn't know that unless you've dated men. My point was/is if you were dating men, you'd find these things and more...and you'd find that it's not all peaches and cream either. Not because theyre men, not because they're women, because they're human and we're ALL flawed.Comment

Speak for yourselfwe're ALL flawed.
Well, we as Mods, view that, as trolling and view all posts/threads... We then view IP addresses, past names, before it gets to the stage of a member suggesting Trolling....and then we make decisions....If you were to get on here and post your own threads about your thoughts so that people all have a fair chance to respond then that's one thing, but you don't do that, you chime in on someone elses thread and try to take the topic somewhere TOTALLY off of where the OP intended.
I agree, that the topic at hand is the initial thread post ..
So, let's get back to that...
