Oh boy, 2009-2010 was when I went on the most dates. Lots of weird stories from having my breast grabbed on the first date, being asked if I have went to a strip club and being asked if my ex boyfriend and my single male friends are good-looking.
Lately, I've been on a few dates. One particular woman seems interested and I will be seeing her again this friday night. I met a man on a speeddating event, but he doesn't seem too responsive. It's a bit of a pet peeve when you two try to set up a date and they take forever."Dating is like slow dancing. Let the man lead, or you will fall all over your feet"Comment

[QUOTE=buddhaboy;322485]Since there are lots and lots of women here who are kindly prepared to share their worldly experiences here I thought I'd start a thread where the girls could share the multitude of methods they have used to reject the unwanted advances of men. I think this has the potential to raise some laughs...
I'l start.
I once approached a girl in a nightclub, and as soon as I opened my mouth she held up the palm of her hand and firmly said: "no".
QUOTE] how rude...an ideal response would be to tell her that her car was being towed or her dress was tucked into her underpants.Comment

never personally been rejected but have had to to others....:/ it sucks i hate doing it..
one time i was in gym sitting waiting for my turn to do go shoot at some targets. we were doing archery. randomly a guy yells out "hey (my name) you wanna.. sldfjdkla;dgh" i couldn't understand him. so i look back and said what?? he asked again "hey do you wanna go out with justin??" in front of everybody. in ninth grade i was shy protective of myself extremely and not interested what so ever in dating...i was only in 9th grade! my friend next to me is sitting there saying no, no no no no over and over again. we knew his reputation.....knowing this guys and how he treats his gf's i just said no straight up. later i found out it hurt him really bad and i was the first girl to ever reject him. he was depressed for weeks. i felt bad........i hate hurting people but i was not interested in being part of his game. math class sucked after that for a long time.
another time i had just moved into a neighborhood and had rode bus couple time to school. noticed a guy kept watching me the entire time. one day he ran up and introduced himself. tall really skinny quite a sweetie. invited me to go to monster truck rally with him...which would've loved to go to..but had plans so told him i couldn't go was busy on the weekend. he took it ok. throughout some amount of allotted time. got to talking (me still being extremely shy never having had a guy show interest in me at all...) got to know each other. well like i said i was shy and extremely protective of myself with men....he kept sitting with me and falling asleep on my shoulder or lap....made me really uncomfortable (was kinda funny though) one day he offered to show me a couple secret places in the neighborhood where we could hang out alone that supposedly wer very pretty....after that i cut off ties with him...i just did not feel safe or comfortable with him he made me really nervous.
and another i've used is saying i had to much drama right now n didn't want to burden him with it. he was very understanding thank goodness. cause i liked him a lot and wanted to but couldn't.Last edited by vw95; 03-19-2013, 11:43 AM.Comment
