Yes Benni but things are going to happen between now and then. That is a goal that has been set that you will be waiting for, hopefully not counting down as it's a long time.

You may have other questions, thoughts, or just want to write something down about a 2hr phone call... Kind of like a place that can interact in conversation over where you are at, or simply read, where you are at.

Otherwise, you are sitting alone wondering about those thoughts and not bringing them to the table.

Oh! I'm an avid blogger -- have several of them! That might be just what I need to do. I talk to Sis about him but she is very skeptical (understandable since it's online and long distance dating) and tends to poo-poo my thoughts/ideas which dampens my enthusiasm. Thanks Chandler!

Couldn't figure out how to start a blog on here so I'll just give an update in this thread......

I got the money order from him in the mail, the other day, for the passport plus a lovely handwritten letter -- gorgeous cursive for a man! So, it hit me -- this is real!! He is truly serious!! He's called me on the phone 3 times this past week and we talked for 2 to 3 hours. Wonderful, loving conversations.

We still chat online everyday and, at the end after saying good night, he always sends me a love song to listen to before bed. He is so romantic. Plus, he has a great sense of humor -- keeps me laughing! He said his granny used to tell him "If a man can't make a woman wet her panties, either through laughin' or lovin', there's no sense keeping him around." He surely is living by that with me!

Also, originally it was going to be a year from now before we were able to meet, now he's talking about this January possibly. And, first the trip was going to be for 4 days there, a week later, he says for 7 days, last night -- 10 days! Hahahahaha! I think he's getting really anxious to meet me!

I'm so happy right now -- you'd think I was a giddy teenager but I'm 61 and he is 58. Too weird at this age to find new love after being single for sooooo many years.

It truly sounds as though he is serious, I hope when you both meet in person, it is just the same... January is like way not far away.. Seems maybe he chose to keep some of those monies back after all against his Mortgage.

Go to advanced post. You can use either the attachments paperclip icon or the insert image icon at the top of the entry window.

The insert image will allow you to insert an image from a service such as photobucket. Put the link (URL) in the entry box and hit OK. It will be inserted where the cursor is.

To use an attachment, click on the paperclip icon at the top click on add files. I usually use the basic uploader. Then browse your computer for the file. Then upload it. Finally click the select box and drag it to the lower part of the window followed by inserting it. It will be inserted where the cursor is.
