I worked with a guy, who claimed up and down, side to side, that he was not married, he also totally denied that he had kids. Never wore a wedding ring, always shrugged his shoulders and claimed he was not married on many occasions. I was attracted to him, he to me. When finally I did get the courage to talk to him one on one, I told him that I was interested in him, I also asked him if he was married.
