Why is there no EDIT button ?

I'm logged in - I should see an EDIT Button ...

can someone please help me figure out how to
EDIT a post that I made ??

There is no edit button, except for moderation purposes. You can double post if you've really got to. Can't be a netiquette Nazi when there's no edit function.
