You're right BD and I do try to remember that he's not as emotional to me. I think the point I was trying to convey to him was that since I can't read his emotions as easily that it's important that he *tells* me how he's feeling about things or how things affect him. I don't expect him to get hysterical and start bawling everytime something happens or whatever, but it is hard for me to know he's upset since he's not always quite as transparent as I am. I think he got the gist And I'm sure that might be something that we have to continue to work on.

I think it's just nice that he listens at least and tries. I'm sure he thinks I get too emotional at times, but I think it really boils down to us both just being straightforward with each other. I hate to let things just fester for a long time and THEN throw it out there. That's what happened with his previous marriage. He never really *knew* there were issues until it was already too late and I think we *both* want to make sure that is not what happens. But we are different in how we deal with thing and it will take some time and patience for us both to get better at comprehending each other.
If you smile when no one else is around, you really mean it.

That's awesome. It's always nice, like Pretzel said, to end a blow up with peace and harmony and most importantly, understanding. Kudos to you for being so in tune with things and being willing to see his efforts too.
