Ugh .. I dated a guy for about 2 1/2 months one time. Then he goes AWOL for about 4 days.. No response to calls, text messages etc.. When I finally got in touch with him and asked him what was up. He says "i am comming over so we can talk" he comes over, and immediatly breaks up with me by saying " I was spending time with family, I can't be with someone who constantly needs to know where I am"... then left.
I was not an idiot. I only asked him why he had made no effort to contact me or respond to my attempts in four day. But in his opinion that was to invasive in his life.

Well anyway he contacts me a few weeks later saying he still wants to be friends so we should hang out. I had known him for years so thought it would be okay. I didn't really see the relationship going anywhere to begin with so I was sure we could just jump back in friend mode. Well he comes over and we watch some t.v. for a while. He throws a few moves on me which I ignore. Ikeep trying to drop hints that he should go home but he was ignoring those. Eventually he falls asleep on my couch. And I just said whatever and went to bed in my room. Then I wake up in the morning and this dude was in my bed with me...creepy right. Well I get up and make him go home in the nicest way possible because I was annoyed by this. Then he text message me a few hours later saying we should just be friends with benifits. I said heck no and deleted his number.

I told you this story because men can really be smooth when they want something. I think if your not in a relationship with him he does not have the right to try to continue to go to bed with you. Really he has just insulted you in a big way. By saying I don't want to be with you, I just want to have sex with you. He is obviosly trying to play you for a fool..

But people can change only if they realize they need to change and if they actually then make an effort to change. So you might wait a long time - even to eternity - if you want to wait until he does change. Maybe you're just better off without him.
I actually tried to get him to understand and he told me he doesnt do anything wrong and we just dont see eye to eye.So i told him its best to move on,and not think about the possibilities of getting back together and he messaged back telling me its still very possible.HES CONFUSING!!!

I know this is overgeneralizing matters, but an interesting quote comes to mind nevertheless. "Women will fake sex for the sake of love. Men will fake love for the sake of sex." That's probably even more the case for younger guys than older ones.

Sometimes the social networking stuff creates such a bubble that it can be nothing but drama... it might make things better if you layed low on those for a while... at the least don't add friends/update status and don't read his for a while and see if you guys can focus on what you have, if you have something outside of that chaos.
outside of myspace or facebook,we are fine.he doesnt flirt with other girls, and i dont flirt with other girls, tho he gets jealous that i have guy friends.a guy friend asked me to the movies a day after we broke up,and he got so upset he wudnt text me back and ignored me for over 24hrs.

i dont add friends cause i know it bothers him.i added ONE person in almost 4 months, and that is no lie.but he adds all the girls he wants and get upset when i mention it.Its not fair to me cause i see on the homepage his replies to these girls, and it isnt just "hi how are you"

He did almost the SAME THING! he never hang out anymore.and i kind of wondered if he just used it as an excuse to break up with me so he could go be with another woman. But he swore to me it was because i lied.Im not saying i didnt do anything wrong, cause even a little lie like that isnt okay, but breaking up with me for that...after nearly 4 months...i wonder if he really even wanted me

Do you guys get to spend enough time together in person? I think if you are long distance or unable to see each other... and most of the contact is via text/email/messenger that the dynamic of talking to other people online changes. When you are with each other often in person than saying hi to some random person is less significant know what I mean? Does the nature of your relationship allow you guys to spend much time together?

He used to take me on dates. We wud go for drives, lay and cuddle all night and watch movies just like i love.but when we did breakup,we stopped hanging out,and myspace, facebook, via text, was our only way of talking.and that became a bigger problem when he started doing these things.Thing is,he NEVER cared that i text "Newhere808" wich he knows is my ex boyfriend, but yet he hated a guy friend cause he thought he like me,wich ill admit,i think he does.but still.

I think the less time you spend with a person "in-person" the more things like adding a friend on a social networking site can take its toll and lead to jealousies and insecurities. Because its kind of an equal playing field... like if he was holding you every day... some joe bob adding you and saying hi would like cause him to shrug and move along with his day... but if you guys rarely see each other and online is your primary source of contact... it changes everything. The slightest wink from soemone can seem like a sign of disprespect etc...

I think it would not be wise for you to be this guys ' friend with benefit's'.... You don't seem like the kind of girl that would be happy detaching your emotions from a physical relationship and thats all friends with benefits situations are. The sex is so empty and pointless, masturbation is superior to sleeping with someone you have no feelings for or no connection to.

Your guy here sounds real immature, like you added a friend so now he has to one up you, and one up you and one up you... imagine if he heard a rumor you were with someone else what he'd resort to in order to one-up you, when maybe you havent even done anything deserving of that sort of reaction. You do soemthing he doesn't like and he's got a 'i'll show you!!!' attitude... pfft childish.

                      Pfft
                      Stop using my word

Sounds to me that he is a child, he's disrespectful, a control freak and no where near good enough for one of my off spring

When someone poses a question you can bet your butt that they "actually" mean it, especially when the cover it with "only joking"...

He is enjoying that your "his" still, knowing that you cry.. He's enjoying "tormenting you", over what you see, if he had a heart he'd pm people on My-Space don't you think?

I think, that as the closest thing was "his hand" that he's out there looking for a bit more, whilst wanting to keep you there as his, so that he can control and hopefully, be "the one" at some point....

I remember your relationship with Newwhere, where at "least" on the surface it appeared that he felt deeply for you... He would never have done any of that huh...

Take that, that was a learning lesson for you of what you deserve, even if that was not meant to be.. and don't settle for this type of reel you in, send you away, reel you in, send you away..

Tell him he's a jerk, immature, you didn't lie, quite simply put, his childish antics of jealousy made you keep something to yourself, there's a big difference.
