Rebecca, you seem to be looking at this situation from only your side of the story. If you consider it from his side and from his wife's side, you may start to realize what is the situation.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, VirginiaComment

hi rebecca
then he is taking his son to church and bringing him to your parents house, also?
because if he is Christian and his wife isn't, the son would be at church with him every week
how old is the son?
in three years time, why haven't you told your parents that the man you're "engaged" to has a wife?
she is focused on her career, so where is this child? who is taking care of the boy when he's not in school?
this is all so confusing to meComment

this is also so confusing that you think he hasn't called off the "engagement"
he thinks you are pregnant but is no longer in contact with you.........a person that he has spent 3 yrs with
rebecca, rebecca.........surely you must be getting his message? actions speak louder than words
he is ignoring a "pregnant fiancé"

I'm not sure how old his son is. I've never met him. I've seen pictures though. Maybe ten? But I'm not sure why that would even matter??
He can't go to church very often because his wife won't let him!! She is very much against that, so he has to go to our church, which is in another town to where he lives so she won't find out. It's like the old days when Christians were persecuted by the Romans!! He can't even take his own son to church!
Usually when we meet it is when he pays me a surprise visit after work on his way home. It is so hard for him to find time for me.
I feel it really is us against the world. We fought so hard for our relationship, but now I messed up forever...
I always thought after all we've been through that nothing would stop us.
