I don't know where to start but my husband and I never have sex!!! When we started dating our sex life was great, every day and some times multiple times a day. But in the last couple of years it all stopped. When we do have sex (about every week and a half)it is because I am asking for it and I am always initiating the event. I don't understand why he doesn't seem attractive to me anymore, he still touches me and whistles at me but thats as far as it goes. I can't say he is tired cause he doesn't work but stays home all day and plays video games. I never had a problem with the video games cause he always made time for me but now I go to bed alone.
When I do manage to get him to pay attention to me the event seems to be rouitine for him, always in bed with the i pod on the lights off and a candle lit. I have tried to spice things up but he doesn't get it. I am tired of walking around our house in little nighties to get him to pay attention to me. I don't think it is very hard I get many looks around town and other men still seem to be interested in me. I don't know what to do but I am done initiating sex. Please if anyone has any advice for me I would love to hear, we have only been married for 9 months...[/I][/I]Comment

A year ago it used to be 5-7 times a week. Now I am lucky to have him interested enough to have it once every week or two. He blames his lack of interest in sex on the fact that he does not last more than a minute. I do my best to tell him it really does not matter to me, but he gets very angry and frustrated so he essentially avoids it altogether. Right now an average weekend probably has 15 minutes of sex in total, that includes oral on him + sex. Oral does nothing for me, and though he loves giving it and always wants to all the time he again stops because he knows that I do not get off from it. Its tough seeing your SO say he is not interested in sex, even though I see the 20-30 porn links on the laptop history a day- he doesn't know that I have checked his history and continually claims that he never masturbates. Oh well, I am just hoping that one day the rut will end and he can start having more interest like the old days. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

Me and my fiance have been together for 3 years. For the first 18 months of our relationship we had sex 2-3 times A DAY! He has a physically demanding job but we would wake up at all hours of the night to have sex.
After 18 months he changed, he lost his job which I know could have hurt his pride etc but he stopped initiating sex and said that he was tired (even though he wasn't doing anything i the day time.)
Now he is back to work and I had hoped that our sex life would return to 'normal' (atleast more than once a week) but things are still the same, he says he is tires only now he has an excuse.
I have tried talking to him countless times but he doesn't seem to want to communicate, he says he loves me, that I am sexy and still turn him on but I'm really finding this difficult. I agree with CW, I think 'tiredness' is just an excuse as it never held my fiance back before.
Obviously there is something really wrong with me or our relationship, but do yourself a favour, sort something out quick before this ruins your self esteem and confidence like it has done to me.
Best of luckComment

When your busy rushing aroung speeds up the metabilism and on injections of addrenalin help. Couple that with his low self asteam he is finding it hard. I have no doubt he loves you and finds you sexually attractive but he is mentally/physically tired and probably feeling like he doesn't deserve you. I am not sure what advice to offer 'cos in general talking about it will just annoy himComment
