Rub his head and pull on his hair. Not hard, but he likes it...he has some joint issues and they swell, so I will rub him down with warming oil and he can relax. My dh is a chocoholic and so I'll bring him a Hershey bar (his favorite) or a pint of chocolate peanut butter ice cream on my way home from work. Leave notes, I'll write on the bathroom mirror in lip pencil, lipstick or eye pencil so he knows I'm thinking of him. Just little things that mean something so he knows how I feel...I love him! -
I work during the day, then come home and make a nice meal for him. I don't always do the cooking, though, he likes to cook as well. We often make dinner together. I fold his clothes, give him backrubs, stuff like that
I just do little things for him that I know he'll appreciate.
I am still trying to figure out what nice thing I want to for him for Christmas. I want to get him something really nice, because not only for Christmas, but we celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary this October.Comment

A lot of women seem to think making the dinner/cleaning etc. is a treat.
You do realise we totally take that for granted, its what your supposed to be doing.Comment

Brian.....what did you just say. Cooking, cleaning, etc.... is what we are supposed to be doing???????I cleaned out his utterly disgusting car last night ^_^ There were 10 glasses/cups in there, seriously. I didn't tell him I was going to do it ... I just showed up to pick him up from work (my truck is out of commission so we're sharing) with this nice clean car!
In bed, that's classified, hehe. But let's just say on our days off I go all-out

I would like to think you're just trying to be sarcastic. Otherwise,
I apperciate all my wife does. Right now, it's not much. Since my issues are long standing (and not really worth the diatribe here) lets just say that she does only those things she wants to do and everything else falls on me.
Best thing and the thing I appreciate most is when she doesn't take me for granted. As long as I can continue to love her and I still feel she's in love with me, everything else is gravy.Comment

You knew you were going to get slammed for that comment. This isn't the first post that you have made that has been arrogant and chauvanistic. No one is "supposed to" or required to do anything for anyone. You do those things because you love the person and want to make things easier for them. Wow, it makes me appreciate OTYA, Tex and Pretzel even more for the MEN they truly are!Comment

I see no reason why Brian shouldn't be punished for his wrongdoings: attacking dear veteran posters and new ones alike and being a chauvinistic cad without the least bit of sarcasm or remorse.
