But you did jump on him when he came home, wore sexy clothes, laughed, smiled, until he ignored you, expected it, and did not appreciate it...Asolutely, you are mature, level headed, know what constitutes a relationship, and he is a "child" yep sorry, he hasn't grown up and as Tex stated, no matter why he is the way he is, it doesn't matter anymore there is no respect for you, simply put...His explanation of "firey" today was: I don't behave like a care-free woman who does silly things from time to time. I don't sing, I don't dance (well, I don't!), I don't jump on him when he comes home from work.... in other words, I don't behave immaturely as much as he'd like me to. He perceives me as someone too calm/serious/logical all the time who is too self-conscious and wants to be in control of her emotions.
What I highlighted in red, is that your perception or his? Because all I see is a man addicted, as Pretzel said a Mummy's boy, who has no respect, never will over women, they are there to please him, just look at his behaviour over the bj, I can see in a way, you were mad, hurt when you decided to tell him you know because "you've done it"
But even then his reaction wasn't love, hurt, it was more who? oh him..
I don't know why, and it is more European than Australian or American, English I believe but so many Europeans are taught to sow their wild oats with who ever they please, before they marry and even then, if they want to do something, do it, just be discrete, don't get caught, women are there to cook, clean, and give you children, your the boss....
I clearly see this in him, and the porn only confirms the disrespect he has for women in my opinion..
You clearly are the saviour in this relationship, you believe you can save it, be it that is because "fiancee" or because, "years" for what ever reason your still trying.. Yet, he is still dis-respecting, you will do it his way....

SEE!! I knew it!!(and I even do sing with my brother!).
He's not asking you to be something you're not.....he's asking you to be something that you can't be with HIM, he's asking you to be something he doesn't deserve. And so you're a smart gal.......saving it for those in your life that actually deserve it.
The problem is....your joy is stifled as long as youre with him. And although he doesn't like the serious, no joking around, self conscious, uptight woman you've become as a result of this relationship...... it's punishing you WAY more than it ever will him because every day of unhappiness is a day you will never have again.
I look horrible in yellow, (my own mom even tells me so so you know it's BAD!). HE is your yellow. Time to take him to the consignment store.

Habit?I don't know... every time I've left a relationship "I knew" it was over, I felt it and was looking for opportunities to break up even if I still loved them. I don't have this feeling with him, that's why I can't break up with him yet. Any idea why? I don't feel like I "need" him, I have a family to go to, I can start a new life, I don't need him financially, it's not that. But what is it...
Ego?
