Hi Lizardb63.
I see your point 100%.
I absolutely would feel the same if i thought some lady was going to be putting her lady bits all over my hub!!! we are married 4 years and in that time he has been to a few batchelor parties, 1 that was a weekend long!! and in that time he has actually NOT been to a strip club. Honestly!! they did outdoor days- drinking sessions, but as some of the men are already married and have children, the decided (probably because half the wives would be very unhappy otherwise) not to go to view naked ladies...to put it nicely..
Now in fairness before we got together he had been to a few much wilder events with boobs and bosoms galore...however he gets it that things sometimes have to change a tad.
your fiance obviously is feeling the pressure though from his friends to be involved so in a way hes in a difficult corner, your angry if he goes, if he doesnt then hos mates will have take the mick!! so he looks'whipped' as he put it....
your request is absolutey a fair one- look but no contact- you are being extremely fair and very understanding.... more than most would be in the same situation
Maybe see if skip that part OR agree that your future togther based on trust etc needs some fine tuning....as you say you are engaged....what if his friends get him a stripper for his own batchelor party!?? you dont want to be dreading that event so close to your wedding!!
maybe draw the line in the sand, tell him, calmly!! why you feel the way you feel and hope you can compromise??? best of luck and lets know how you get on

I have tried explaining how I feel about it, but he feels that I don't trust him. That is not my reasoning for feeling that way at all, but he doesn't get it I guess. It's probably because his cousins, buddies, etc...all have went to strip clubs for their bachelor party and he would be "The odd one out" out of the group. The wives of the other husbands say "he's coming home to me, so whatever", but I guess I am just more sensitive about it than that. I KNOW he's coming home to me, but that doesn't mean I want another naked woman on my man...or for hiim to want it or get any type of enjoyment out of it. Now I understand guys will look, and have their fantacies (just like women), but I don't like that it would be a REAL thing, rather than just a thought. Maybe i AM insecure. I dont know, but I just know that I don't sit well with the idea of a strip club.Comment

If it doesn't sit well with you, it shouldn't be necessary for him to do. Period. End of story.

Hi Lizzard
I think more than you being insecure its the whole situation.
I hold my hands up 100% that I definitly DO have insecurites especially since I had my little boy- my whole lifestyle has changed I am a mum now you know and honestly I dont feel as GLAM as i used to !!! how can you picking up play doh and cleaning spagetti off the floor(really if anyone knows PLEASSSE tell me ) but the point is even before motherhood came into my world and I was not insecure, i still wouldnt have liked my hub going to see strippers.
If you are single fair enough you areny hurting anyone, but if you have a loyal loving partner who is asking you not to for whatever the reason then maybe you need to look at your priorities.
I think I see what your saying he loves you and maybe doesnt wanna be a part of the whole thing- but by not going will lose part of his reputaion kinda thing!
I honestly dont know what else to say except may a last ditch attempt......???? usually helps to love him up first....
but really maybe offer him a personal dance if he doesnt go (if all else fails!!??? Maybe not a good idea?
Hope you get some resolution............keep us informed!Comment

lizz, has this been resolved?I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

jns, yes this has been resolved. My fiance told his brother that he does not want to go to any strip clubs for his bachelor party. He is still going to one over deer hunting (guys outing) but hasn't sat at the stage since we've been together and he won't. I don't care if he goes, I just don't want them touching him, and vice versa.Comment

I can only speak to my experience. I had no idea we were going to end up at a strip club on the night of my batchelor party and, as someone alluded to before, it was more fun for my friends and brothers than me. In my area there is no touching allowed and they made me get up on stage while the girls embarrassed the out of me. It was the first and only time I have been to a strip club. If I had a choice, we would not have been there, but I was already drunk and not driving. My wife found out from a friend's wife (who was there) about it. She was very upset and still brings it up about once a year. Funny thing is, years later my wife admitted to going to a strip club with friends while she was away at school. This was before we were engaged but had been monogamous for several years.Comment
