If you are addicted to the point of thinking it is unthinkable then yeah I can see not liking the idea of waiting for a toenail to grow. However because of the decision to do nothing for so many years there is the chance that the fungal infection can spread and he can be out of commission for much longer and in much more pain.For an addicted skier missing a few days of a season in a tragedy, missing a month or two is unthinkable. I know exactly what he would be thinking if he is addicted. Expect depression to set in if he cannot ski.
Well that is good to hear. Hopefully the treatment works quickly and if he has to have the nail removed hopefully that grows without a problem. Tell him there is a chance that the infection can come back again and if it does to actually go to the doctor so that the same situation does not happen again.he did finally make the appointment.
