Drugs vary in price from place to place, sure, and depending on quality and availability... But $2000 is basically buying to sell amounts.... Not personal consumption - of any drug I can think of... It's difficult to think of a way you could spend more than a couple of hundred bucks in a night, unless you were an experienced user, in which case you'd be buying at better prices anyway.

In fact, I'm starting to think about how you could consume that much money in a night... 2 hookers, half an ounce of weed, a gram of mdma and a couple of grams of coke (yuck)... In fact, I guess cocaine can be mega expensive for extremely pure high grade rich boys stuff...

And willhelm, price to wasted ratio is an important decion in choosing your poison, at least if you're skint... haha.

The price seems unreasonably high to me. There was a story recently of the New York Governor (or something) spending $4000 on a night with a prostitute - and the story implied that that was a very high price.

$2000 is too much to pay even for a full evening with a prostitute. Is there something else going on? Drugs maybe?

I used to work as a bartender at a strip club, i have seen plenty of girls recieve that much in a night. VIP is $500 and hour, and there were males who would have two girls in VIP for several hours. They also would purchase champagne to share with the girls, which would be $100 a bottle.
Adding up tips, and private dances (at the club i worked at, it was $50 for 3 songs), then it definately can get pricey.

For me lying = cheating.

Cheating to me is all about being deceitful and hiding stuff.. if my husband went to a lap dancing club, spent an absolute fortune, but was completely open with me and admitted it all - I wouldn't see that as cheating.

To me, cheating is lies. A partner who lies does not deserve trust. A partner who says, I got drunk, I messed up, and I spent £200 in a lapdancing club, is generally honest, not hiding a thing, so should be given the benefit of the doubt. If they were being untrustworthy they would have made up a lie about being somewhere else instead.

Trust an honest man, however hard some of the admissions are!!

The best lie is 99% truth.... If I shagged a stripper at a strip club, I'd definately say I went to one. Maybe I'm just too wiley for my own good...

Why do you think it's way of topic?

The threader started the thread in January and hasn't returned to reply.
People were astounded about the amount of money spent, as a part of her content. Seeing as she is not around to answer, we are all seeking answers! And each replying what their thoughts are.. No point worrying about whether it is right or wrong, cheater or not, she hasn't been here to agree/disagree

However, for the record, i wouldn't feel it was cheating like you, if he told me which it may very well be that he did as to how she knew, but it may be that he was caught out.

Hard to reply to that one when she aint around to answer..
