Advice for issues with ingrown hairs

Waxing is so much better than shaving when it comes to your bikini area. It hurts like , but its so worth it. .................a product by GiGi that inhibits hair regrowth.

Ingrown hairs occur because the hair cannot penetrate the surface area of the skin when it grows back. The best way to prevent ingrown hairs it to exfoliate the area daily. Use a toner with salicylic acid to help shed the top layer of skin. It will burn so use with caution. I have used products like bikini zone and they don't seem to work for me.

Surprising, acne treatments for your face actually work great in this area. But be careful, some cause irritation. I wouldn't recommend using any product that has benzoyl peroxide in it. This can irritate your skin. I like to use Murad's moisturizing acne treatment. It usually doesn't burn and the product contains ingredients that calm the skin and reduce irritation.

    I hope this advice helps.
