  • Worried About Your Butt Hair or Removal? Is It Normal? Discuss It All Here

Have you ever noticed hair in your butt crack or on your butt cheeks? Maybe both? Are you wondering if you’re the only one? So, what should you do?

Because butt hair IS normal and is something we all deal with, I’ve created an article addressing this potentially hairy topic and a place to discuss it freely!

So, fess up! Do you have it? Do you get it removed? Whether you love it or hate it, I’d love to hear your experiences!

This discussion is based on my corresponding article on our website that talks about butt hair, whether it’s normal or not and how to safely remove it if that's what you choose.

  • Thank you for telling us that butt hair is normal. So if anyone criticizes a woman, she can say it's normal and if he doesn't like it, don't look - or get an orgasm from someone else!

    • I have not found butt hair to be turn off on women. I wonder if worrying about it is more self criticism or possibly more women criticizing women.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
      ...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

I think so. This is often the case with many of the things women worry about, and men, too. We really have been programmed to think hair on women is gross and unacceptable, so butt hair is no exception. It just happens to be a very difficult area to "de-hair" which leaves many women feeling insecure.

I've never heard a man complain about it. But then again, I'm not sure any man with half a brain would be unwise enough to say that outloud to a woman. Lol.

I agree. I've never said a word to my g/f about her butt hair. I know it grows there for a good reason.

When I began dating my g/f. she was shaven in areas she thought were supposed to be shaved including her bikini line. As we grew closer to each other, she was comfortable not being as attentive, which I willingly and happily accepted. Her being comfortable around me regardless of hair indicated trust. Trust is the foundation of an enduring relationship.

If we talk about hair and butt hair specifically, she'll mention it. SHE has asked me to shave it for her, and that has to be love ;-).

Butt hair "phobia" must be generational. I know I'd never mention it to any woman.

          • Women worry far too much about stuff that men never notice and doesn't bother them.

I doubt that any man would kick a woman out of bed because of hair anywhere.

            • I for one have never been put off by butt hair or pubic hair! Women have been conditioned to reject their natural bodies for far too long and I am so ready to break down that taboo!

              • I also have never been put off by hair on men or women. Honestly I'm more put off by lack of hair when people shave! Personally I have never done anything to my own. I think the cons (discomfort when it grows back, effort/upkeep) outweigh the pros. I have some friends that really like to keep it neat down there though and say that they do it for themselves and not their partners.

                • I dated a woman who was quite hairy and I encouraged her to not shave. The hair on the butt was beautiful and arousing. My erections were never firmer.

                  • I 100% agree that no one (of any gender) should worry about their butt or pubic hair nor do I think anyone should feel pressured or think it's required to remove it, especially to appeal to a partner. That being said, I get waxed every few weeks and yes, the hair on my butt is part of the removal process. I've been waxing since 2012 and am with a partner who has no problem with pubic or butt hair. He'd be perfectly happy if I grew it out, but I love how bare skin feels, and I continue to do it for me.
