Hi All, I too had the same symptoms a vibration on the left side of my vagina just like my cell phone was attached to my body there. I went to my gynecologist and he examined me and did a pelvic sonogram. Nothing was revealed, he suggested I be seen by my general doctor who happens to be an osteopath. She said that many people have localized nerve pulses in various places about their body and this sounded like my case. However the location was a bit unusual. She told me to take vitamin B6 as this controls the nervous system. In approximately 1 week my symptoms have completely gone away. I believe that stress had played a role in my case. Good luck I hope this is encouraging as this condition is quite annoying.

      one solution

My partner has that problem when she is horny...... I found that the solution for her was to have sex, giving her orgasms by oral stimulation, then by penetration with maximal G-spot stimulation (rear entry position) . That works for her--- worth a try?

I just bought the Jarrow 100 MG Theanine today because the 200 MG were so expensive. Seriously hope it works to relieve my persistent vaginal twitching! I may take two capsules at once if need be. If anyone else has info related to Theanine, please share!

I have this problem too only recently and only when I have really bad cramps. I am currently on my period as well.... but... I don't know what to do.

Went to my gynecologist. She couldn't find anything, not even a yeast infection. She told me to wait it out a couple months and then she will determine what to do. The theanine doesn't seem to be helping me. Maybe I'm not taking enough. Anyway, I honestly want to know how many of you have had this and have seen it go away! And if so, what did you do to relieve it! I want to believe it is possible for this to leave me.

              vibrating vagina

Same thing as everyone else...I kept reaching for my cell phone in my pocket and it wasn't there. I will have to agree with the earlier post. I recently took a bad fall down a flight of stairs. Even though I worked for a chiropractor for 7 years and knew I should go get an adjustment after the fall, I never made the time. I'm pretty confident that the vibrating is a misalignment in my lower lumbar area creating a pinch nerve. I will be seeing my chiropractor now that the previous post helped me to put the two together. This has been a long journal for this issue and just had to fast forward to the last page to see if anyone ever came up with a diagnosis. Crazy how the female docs / nurses haven't heard of this and in some cases poked fun at the problem. Thanks to everyone for the info and posting as time goes by.

I dont know if my body was trying to get rid of it or what but for me it was the iud

I finally convinced her to pay a visit to the local ER last weekend after she hadn't had any real sleep in 36 hours. After she described the symptoms, the first question the doctor asked was "Have you ever been diagnosed with PCOS?" (she does have PCOS). He'd apparently encountered this a number of other times in PCOS patients. No explanation of WHY this happens, but he gave her a prescription for Neurontin, which has helped just a little, and referred her to a neurologist, who will see her in a couple of weeks. FYI, she is NOT taking medication for the PCOS, after having a bad experience with the first batch of pills her gynecologist had prescribed.
So glad I found this - a very probable link. I too have PCOS and the strange vibrations.... Might be worth other ladies following up!

Ok ladies it's not from using birth control because I have the same problem and I had a hysterectomy 30 years ago. It's not a pleasurable feeling for sure heck if it was I guess we wouldn't be looking for a cure lol
I AM SOOOO glad I am NOT alone with this problem I have to say it's funny reading all these emails . So if you guys found an answer please let me know.
